Student answer (Band 5.5)
These days, it is crucial for all the population, in the addition of young people, to save finance for their upcoming days which has become a widely discussed subject in the modern society. Some people supports this idea, other holds an opposing view. In my opinion, I firmly agree with this statement and I will explain this essay with valid reasons in the upcoming paragraphs.
On the first hand, there are several clear reasons supporting to my point of view. It was very significant for saving money for their future, most of the population were needs money for thier eductaion, medication, travel expense, developing business and for their carrers. Moreover, people need to save maney for their upcoming needed. For instance, some time a lot of population going from very difficulties like transports, health, education and some time travel issue. Consequently, if they were already save finance than this was very useful for them.
On the other hand, some people may hold the opposite opinion by their point of view, they deliberatly that the saving of money did not crucial and compulsary for the the alone man, because they considered that they was a one man and they need to use their money instantly and they realize that this money was their and they want to spend this according to way.
In conclusion, both of the statements were valid on their point of view. In my opinion saving money was a very significant way for brighting their future and future need and for their retirement.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you firmly agree that people should save, and the conclusion returns to this view. You also give relevant reasons, including education, medical costs, business plans and retirement, so the response addresses the topic. However, these points are mostly listed rather than explained or supported with a specific example. The opposing view is mentioned, but its reasoning—that people may prefer to spend their money immediately—is not explored, and it is not clearly weighed against your own position. This leaves some parts of the argument under-developed and the discussion only partly convincing. To strengthen the response, explain how saving helps in a particular situation and briefly show why that benefit outweighs the case for spending now.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting different views, and a conclusion. Paragraphing helps the reader identify the main stages of the discussion, and phrases such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” signal transitions. However, progression within the paragraphs is less clear. The first body paragraph moves through a list of possible expenses and then gives a broad example without explaining the connection in detail. Some linking phrases are also mechanical or awkward, such as “On the first hand” and “Consequently,” where the relationship between ideas is not fully established. Make each paragraph develop one central point in a clear sequence, and use referencing and transitions that accurately show how each sentence relates to the previous one.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “education,” “medication,” “developing business” and “retirement,” which makes the subject clear. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “widely discussed subject.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning difficult to follow: “save finance,” “upcoming needed,” and “brighting their future” are not natural expressions in this context. Spelling errors such as “thier,” “eductaion” and “maney” also reduce accuracy. Build a reliable set of phrases for discussing personal finance, and check spelling and collocations. For example, use “save money for future needs” and “secure a brighter future” rather than translating phrases word for word.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a sentence beginning “Moreover” and a contrast introduced by “On the other hand.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction occur frequently enough to make some passages difficult to understand. For example, “Some people supports this idea, other holds an opposing view” has agreement and plural errors, while “It was very significant for saving money” does not form a clear grammatical statement. In “if they were already save finance,” the conditional verb pattern is also incorrect. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses using correct verb forms. Check agreement and tense consistency when revising each sentence.
