I totally agree that youngsters should save money for their future.
One major reason for saving money is that it helps people overcoming unexpected situations. In daily life, students may face various kinds of challenges such as bills cost of repairing for instance if a students phone has been damaged or its not working they will be having some money to fix it regardless of taking financial assistance from others. Overall saving money build a sense of responsibility and practicality in a person and reduces stress in difficult situations.
Another benefit of saving money is that it helps a person achieving his long term goals as a person tends to peruse his career in business or wants a higher education requires a lot of financial assistance. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you state, “I totally agree,” and give two relevant reasons—emergency expenses and longer-term goals such as education. The examples about repairing a phone and funding university study help connect these points to young people’s lives. However, the discussion is brief and some ideas are not fully explained; for instance, the link between saving and “a sense of responsibility and practicality” is asserted rather than illustrated. The response also falls short of the required 250 words, which limits the space available to develop your reasoning. To strengthen the response, explain how saving benefits people beyond the examples and consider adding a specific personal or general example to support your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate benefits, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “One major reason,” “Another benefit,” and “In conclusion” make the progression easy to follow. However, some linking is mechanical, and ideas within the body paragraphs are not always connected smoothly. For example, the first paragraph moves from emergency repairs to responsibility and stress without explaining the relationship between these outcomes. The conclusion also repeats points already made rather than drawing them together. Use a wider range of natural transitions and make the connection between each example and its main point explicit. Clearer referencing would also help avoid repeating “a person” and “saving money.”
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “unexpected situations,” “long term goals,” “financial assistance,” and “financial security.” These expressions allow you to communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and some word choices or collocations sound unnatural, such as “bills cost of repairing,” “peruse his career,” and “builds a responsibility.” Repetition of “saving money,” “person,” and “future” also reduces variety. Aim to use more precise phrases for expenses, career plans, and the benefits of saving, while checking that words fit their context. For example, describe someone as pursuing a career and say that saving develops a sense of responsibility. More accurate collocations would make your ideas clearer and more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional and relative structures, and the overall meaning is generally understandable. However, errors in verb patterns, agreement, articles, and sentence construction are noticeable. For example, “it helps people overcoming” should use a different verb pattern, while “saving money build” needs subject–verb agreement. The sentence beginning “as a person tends to peruse…” is difficult to follow because its clauses are not joined accurately. There are also missing apostrophes and punctuation in places, such as “its not working.” Review verb forms after “help,” agreement with singular and plural subjects, and how to build complete sentences around examples. Greater accuracy in these areas would make your reasoning easier to read.
