Student answer (Band 5.5)
Money is very important for everyone for now days .Its play very important role in every ones life Without money you do not even can be breath in daily life. So its really important to save money for everyone including young people or even school going students for their different finances like outdoor planning with friends.
In My Opinion , Savings is very beneficial for healthy wealthy life and future.
Saving money helps you feel secure during difficult times ,children future,
big goals ,less stress and growth of healthy future. In difficult times people can use their savings in future rather than mentally torture. Savings also good for future of children like future studies ,martial need of children. Life insurance also called savings for future
However ,I believe people should maintain a balance between saving and enjoying their present life. Therefore, I strongly agree that saving money is essential ,but it should be done according to a persons income and financial .
Money savings gives man many opportunities to avail all life goals .It also helpful for your trips and luxury expenses .If you have loads of money it does not mean you spend blindly .You can save money in the form of investment but it should be good or beneficial like u can invest in business. Saving money mostly in form of gold its most beneficial than others because gold prices rise and fall on daily basis. I think money should be save easily on monthly basis after all expenses.
In Simple Words ,Saving money today gives you more choices and security which is very helpful for our children life in future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you strongly agree that saving is important, while adding that people should balance saving with enjoying the present and consider their income. You give relevant reasons, including security in difficult times, children’s education, major goals, and investment, so the response addresses the main question. However, some points are asserted rather than explained. For example, the reference to life insurance and the claim that gold is more beneficial than other investments are not supported with clear reasoning or an example. The opening also focuses broadly on money’s importance before directly establishing why young people should save. Develop fewer points with specific explanations or examples, and connect each one more explicitly to the future benefits of saving.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an identifiable overall structure: an introduction, supporting discussion, a qualification about enjoying the present, and a concluding summary. Connectors such as “However,” “Therefore,” and “In Simple Words” help signal relationships between ideas. Nevertheless, progression is uneven, and several points are crowded together in long paragraphs. The second paragraph moves quickly from difficult times to children’s needs and insurance, while the later discussion shifts among goals, trips, investment, and gold without clear sequencing. Some links are also unclear, as in “In difficult times people can use their savings in future rather than mentally torture.” Organise each body paragraph around one main reason, then explain and illustrate it; use referencing and transitions to make the relationship between sentences clearer.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “savings,” “financial,” “investment,” “insurance,” “secure,” and “goals,” which allows you to discuss several aspects of the topic. There are also attempts at more specific expressions such as “financial security” and “monthly basis.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or unnatural, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “healthy wealthy life,” “mentally torture,” “martial need of children,” and “money savings gives man many opportunities.” Spelling and informal forms such as “u” also reduce precision. Aim to learn common word partnerships for personal finance and use them accurately; for instance, describe savings as providing “financial security” and say that people “set aside money” each month.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a contrast introduced by “However” and a conditional structure in “If you have loads of money it does not mean you spend blindly.” This shows some variety, and the main position is generally understandable. However, errors in sentence formation, agreement, articles, and punctuation recur and sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “Its play very important role” has an incorrect subject–verb form and missing article, while “I think money should be save easily” uses an incorrect passive form. Several sentences also run together or contain incomplete structures, such as “Saving money helps you feel secure during difficult times, children future, big goals…” Practise building complete sentences around one main clause, then check verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries.
