Student answer (Band 6.0)
The proposal says that its is crucial for everyone including young people to save money for their future use. in my opinion I am absolutely sure that saving money is very important for future needs , saving money can help you to reach your goals and also you to deal with unexpected finances.
I firmly hold a view on saving money due to various reasons like it will help you to reach your goals for instance education, parents save money for their children so they can continue their further studies. moreover you can buy valuable assets like property from your saving and some times due to financial difficulties you do not need to borrow money you have your own savings.
Saving money during working years provides financial support after retirement. Many times you faces many unexpected emergencies like unemployment therefore saved money played very significant role.
Furthermore, I contemplate that young youth also need to save their money without expanding a lot of money on unnecessary items due to the fact that they do not aware about what will happened next they should not rely on their parents income. For instance many people father died so children suffers due to financial issues.
In addition a real life example from my life my mother died and my father does not has a proper finance job and we are two sisters we need to continue our studies but the good thing was that my mother has some savings and valuable assets like Jewelry and property so now we are studying through these saved assets and money. and I am doing job and saving money to i can accomplished my goals
In conclusion i would say that saving money plays a very significant role in people life specially young youth as it helps you to manage your future goals and unexpected employment or any emergency.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
Your position is clear throughout: you strongly agree that saving is important, and you address both general future needs and the particular importance for young people. The response gives relevant support, including saving for education, avoiding borrowing, retirement, and your family’s experience after your mother’s death. These examples extend the main argument and make it personally meaningful. To strengthen the response further, develop some points with more precise explanation: for instance, explain how young people can balance saving with current expenses, rather than mainly advising them not to spend on unnecessary items. The reference to “unexpected employment” in the conclusion is also unclear; specify the financial risk you mean. Overall, the task is addressed with a clear, supported position, though a few claims remain broad.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a recognisable progression: an introduction states your view, body paragraphs give reasons and examples, and a conclusion restates the position. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” and “In addition” help signal the development of ideas, and the personal example is placed where it supports the argument about young people’s financial security. However, several paragraphs contain multiple points without clear separation, and some transitions feel mechanical because they rely on a sequence of linking phrases. The long paragraph beginning “Furthermore, I contemplate…” moves from spending habits to parental reliance and then to bereavement, so the relationship between these points could be made clearer. Use topic sentences and divide distinct reasons into separate paragraphs; also make references such as “these saved assets” more explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “financial difficulties,” “retirement,” “emergencies,” “valuable assets,” and “savings.” The personal example also gives you opportunities to use relevant terms such as “property” and “studies.” However, the range is limited by repeated wording, especially “saving money,” “future,” and “significant role,” and several choices are inaccurate or unnatural. For example, “expanding a lot of money” does not express the intended idea; “spending a lot of money” would be appropriate. “Unexpected employment” is also unclear in context, and “proper finance job” is not a natural phrase. Aim for more precise collocations and vary repeated expressions while keeping the meaning clear.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including explanations with “so” and a reason introduced by “due to the fact that.” This allows you to express causes, examples, and consequences. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries occur frequently enough to make some passages difficult to follow. Examples include “you faces,” “saved money played,” “my father does not has,” and “so I can accomplished.” Several sentences also run together, particularly the opening and the final personal example, while capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent. Practise building shorter, complete sentences first, then check subject–verb agreement and verb forms when adding clauses. Clear sentence boundaries would make your ideas easier to understand.
