Student answer (Band 6.0)

Money is an important aspect of our daily life. People from every age group now believe that saving money for future is a good practice. I am fully agreed with this view because it gives a person support in emergency condition, financial independence also ability to fullfil his wish.

In our daily life we may exeperience different situations. If we face an accident or any medical situation arise suddenly than money is need to tackle this situation but if we do not save money for this type of emergency situation than we are not able to face this type of incident. Also, in urban area as the population increasing rapidly the cost of living is rising .Therefore if a person want to buy a home or car of his own than it is now become impossble to buy with his salaries if he does not have any savings.

Futhuremore the young generation of our country now try to pursue their higher studies in abroad therefore they have to show a good amount of financial security to get the admission in foreign university which is only possible if they saves money from their daily expense. Moreover, if a person have sufficient amout of savings he may fullfil his any kind of desire and address the demand of his family members. Additionallly it gives a person extra confidence and financial independence that bring a mental peace.

In conclusion, savings money give a person support in his difficult times also bring peace and prosperity to in his family that is why everyone should try to save money as much as possible.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear from the introduction: you fully agree that saving is important, and the conclusion reinforces this view. You give several relevant reasons, including preparing for medical emergencies, affording major purchases, funding overseas study, and supporting family needs. These examples address the task well and show why saving matters to different people. The emergency and housing points are relevant but would benefit from more explanation or a specific example; the later points are also listed more than explored. To strengthen the response further, develop fewer reasons in greater depth and explain how they demonstrate the importance of saving for young people as well as adults.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. The ideas generally progress from emergencies and living costs to education and family security. Linking expressions such as “Also,” “Furthermore,” and “Moreover” help signal additions, and the conclusion returns to the central argument. However, the repeated use of additive transitions makes the connections feel somewhat mechanical, and some sentences contain several ideas without clear internal organisation. For example, the final body paragraph moves from overseas study to personal wishes, family demands, confidence, and peace of mind. Group related points and use clearer references or cause-and-effect links to make the progression more natural.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “financial security,” “cost of living,” “higher studies,” and “financial independence.” These expressions help communicate the main ideas, but word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive, which limits precision. Phrases such as “emergency condition,” “fullfil his wish,” and “savings money” are not natural in this context; “financial independence” is also repeated. There are noticeable spelling errors, including “exeperience,” “impossble,” and “Futhuremore.” Aim to learn common word partnerships and check spelling carefully. More precise phrasing would make your argument clearer and more fluent without requiring unusually advanced vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if we do not save money … we are not able to face” and a reason clause beginning “because.” The overall meaning is usually understandable, but some errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction reduce accuracy. For example, “I am fully agreed” should be “I fully agree,” while “if they saves money” needs subject–verb agreement. In “if a person want,” the verb form is also incorrect, and “the population increasing” needs a complete grammatical structure. Review agreement and clause formation, and punctuate sentence boundaries consistently; this will help you express your ideas with greater control.
