Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is irrefutable that saving money is best option for future and it is crucial for everyone including the youth that they should save money for their future.I totally agree with this trend and my reason behind agreement, that I will explain in the following paragraphs.

Firstly, saving money will be useful. This is beacuse when people are in trouble then they can use this money and solve their finicial cricise. For example, sometimes emergancy occurs in the family and that if people save sufficient money, so it is useful for treatment of person.Secondly, if youth saves money from their childhood then it will helpful for them to pay their fees even though, their family not have enough money to pay their fee and as a result they can recieve better study by their own savings and they do not have to reliy on someone else.

Moreover, manytime it happens that people have to ask for money to someone else because they did not save their money when they had.As a consequances, other people will treat them disrespectfully when they ask for money. However, if they save money when they had then not only they save themselves from disrespect but also they can get things which they really need at that time.Furthermore, saving money is always beneficial because it always help people in their hard time. For instance, if person starts business and he fails in it but if he has his savings then he will able to start new business in future and might get sucess.

To sum up, to save money is vital for everyone including young people because when people are in trouble then money is thing which will save them from hard time.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear from the introduction (“I totally agree”) and remains consistent in the conclusion. You give relevant reasons: savings can help with family emergencies, education costs, borrowing difficulties, and restarting a business. The examples make the response more than a list of claims, particularly the scenario of paying for treatment. This meets the task well, though the support is uneven: the education point and the claim that others may treat borrowers disrespectfully are asserted rather than explained in depth. To strengthen the response further, develop one or two examples with more specific detail and explain how saving from a young age can realistically be achieved.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas generally progress from emergencies and education to borrowing and business risks. Linking expressions such as “Firstly,” “Moreover,” “However,” and “To sum up” help signal this progression. At times, however, the connections feel mechanical, and some sentences contain several ideas joined together, making the relationships less clear. For example, the sentence beginning “Secondly, if youth saves money…” combines saving, fees, family finances and educational outcomes without clear separation. Use shorter sentences where needed and make references such as “this money” or “it” unmistakably clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main points, including “emergancy,” “treatment,” “fees,” “savings,” and “business.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate spellings or word choices make the writing less precise, as in “finicial cricise,” “manytime,” “consequances,” and “sucess.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “get better study” and “ask for money to someone else.” These errors do not prevent the reader from understanding the overall argument, but they are noticeable. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations for money, education and emergencies, rather than relying on repeated general words such as “useful” and “helpful.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional ideas (“if people save sufficient money…”) and a contrast structure (“not only… but also…”). However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in articles, agreement, verb forms and sentence boundaries are frequent enough to affect ease of reading. Examples include “saving money is best option,” “it will helpful,” and “it always help people.” The sentence about young people saving for fees also lacks a clear grammatical structure. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly formed subordinate clause, then check articles, subject–verb agreement and punctuation. Greater control of these basics would make your ideas much easier to follow.
