Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear, though qualified, position in “I am partially agree,” and discuss both the benefits of saving and the case for enjoying money in the present. The emergency-funds point and the example of young people using money for studies are relevant to the question. However, the position is not fully explained: the conclusion says everyone should save, which sounds more strongly supportive than the partial agreement stated earlier. Some ideas also remain general or unclear, such as the claim that young people can buy “any luxurious item” for their future. Explain more precisely how much saving is appropriate and why, and develop one or two examples to show how they support your view. This would make the response address the task more fully and consistently.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph supporting saving, a contrasting paragraph, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “Firstly,” “Moreover,” and “On the contrary” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, and some connections between ideas are unclear. For example, the sentence about children spending pocket money on trips and skills does not clearly show whether this is presented as saving or spending. The conclusion also shifts from partial agreement to a broad recommendation without resolving that contrast. Use clearer topic sentences and explain the relationship between each example and your main point; vary linking devices and use pronouns with clear references.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “emergency conditions,” “further studies,” “wages,” and “entertainment,” so the reader can follow the main subject. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “In the contemporary era” and “To commence with.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or unnatural, which limits precision: “on behalf of that” does not express the intended cause, and “save expense” is not a natural way to describe putting money aside. Repetition of “money,” “future,” and “people” also narrows the range. Build a more reliable set of expressions for saving and spending, and check that formal phrases fit their context rather than relying on them as fixed templates.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because” and “so that,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, errors are frequent and sometimes make sentences difficult to process. Examples include “every citizens,” “This statement give,” and “I am partially agree,” which show problems with agreement and verb patterns. In “if people think about future, he or she will not able,” the article, pronoun reference, and verb construction need attention. Punctuation and spacing are also inconsistent, particularly in the conclusion. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and complete verb patterns first, then build longer sentences around one clear main clause.
