Student answer (Band 6.0)

It is widely believed that everyone, specially young people should save their money for better future. I strongly believe that saving money may help people to survive better in old age and emergency situations. Most people ague that cash saving is not beneficial.

Although saving money is a challenging task in upward-trended inflation, and it is quite difficult for everyone. Many people saves their cash because it assist them in emergence conditions. These situations often come in everyone's life. As a result, by saving money they are fully prepared to face these suddenly happen situations. For instance, A father always be ready to face any emergency that occur in their family. So, he plans well for their family future and save money for them.

Many younger people believe that saving money may not provide them more trips for enjoyment and avoid them to wear luxury dresses. They mostly spend their large proportion of imcome on trips and buy latest dresses because they consider it essential part of life. As a result, they feel more happiness and assume theirselves connected to trending fashion. For example, many young employees dressed-well in offices because of their visual reputations. So, they spent their money on shopping and save nothing.

From my perspective, younger individuals should wisely spend their money because they require a lot money for their future goals like marriage and separate home. furthermore, investing some money back to their families is also very crucial because they had spent a lot of money in their schooling, clothing and food for their growth. Now, it's time to pay back them. As a result, it strengthen family relationships and their values.

In conclusion, I strongly agree that Saving money for their future is very important and useful. This action has lot of limitations but protect us from uneven conditions that happen suddenly. Moreover, Younger people dissagree with this statement. They believe that saving money may result in limitation of their trips and enjoments.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you strongly agree that saving is important, and you give relevant reasons, especially preparation for emergencies and future family responsibilities. The emergency example and discussion of young people’s spending show an attempt to consider different perspectives. However, the response does not develop all points equally. The paragraph about trips and fashionable clothes mainly describes why young people spend, without fully explaining how this affects the case for saving. The final paragraph introduces marriage, a separate home, and supporting parents, but these ideas are asserted rather than illustrated or explained in depth. To strengthen the response, connect each reason explicitly to your position and develop one or two examples with clearer explanation.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, separate body paragraphs, and a conclusion. The paragraphs generally focus on distinct topics, and linking expressions such as “Although,” “For instance,” and “In conclusion” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, with repeated “As a result” and “So” constructions. The opening sentence of the second paragraph begins with “Although” but does not complete a clear contrast, which weakens the connection to the previous paragraph. Some references are also unclear, such as “they” in the discussion of family responsibilities. Use a wider range of natural transitions and make the links between claims and examples more explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate your main ideas, including “inflation,” “emergency situations,” “future goals,” and “family relationships.” There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “visual reputations” and “trending fashion,” although these are not natural choices in context. Several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors reduce precision: “cash saving,” “emergence conditions,” “imcome,” and “dissagree.” Some phrases are also awkward, including “save their money for better future” and “provide them more trips.” These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding the overall argument, but more accurate collocations and careful proofreading would make the vocabulary more effective and flexible.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a subordinate clause beginning “Although” and sentences using “because” and “that.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main message is generally understandable. However, some errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction remain. For example, “Many people saves” should use a plural verb, while “it assist them” needs a singular verb form. “A father always be ready” is missing an appropriate finite verb, and “it strengthen family relationships” has incorrect agreement. The opening “Although saving money is a challenging task …” is also left as a fragment. Review subject–verb agreement and ensure every subordinate clause is attached to a complete main clause.
