Student answer (Band 5.5)
Money plays an essential role in the daily life of every human being. It acts in two ways: it either benefits us or harms us. Some people say that money does not buy you happiness, well this phrase is totally a lie because the reality is that money is a basic necessity for a human whether It's a middle-class family or lower-class family. Everyone needs money.
For this exact reason saving money has becoming crucial for us. We have been told by our parents that you should save your money for your future because it will cause you benefit for yourself, same advice i would give to the young people that saving money is important because ultimately the money you are making at that time will soon going to be finish so, you have a better plan to invest or save that money. The Saving could be use for multiple reasons. If young people (like me) save's money on a daily basis then there would be no worries for me in the future because i will do what ever i want to do with that money, I can either go study abroad or Travel abroad with my friends.
In the end, I would say the one thing that matters in a human live's is money. So, In my opinion everyone should save their earning while they are young because this is the age where you are growing your life. As a young me I would suggest same thing for myself too.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you agree that young people should save, and you give relevant reasons, including future study or travel and the possibility of having money available later. These examples show a basic response to the topic. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The claim that money is essential and the advice to save are repeated, while the essay does not explain practical benefits in much detail—for example, how savings could provide security during unemployment or help meet education costs. The opening also spends time disputing the saying that money cannot buy happiness, which is not directly connected to the question of saving. Develop two distinct reasons and explain each with a specific example to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable introduction, a main paragraph and a conclusion, and the reader can follow the general argument that saving is important. You also use basic links such as “For this exact reason” and “In the end.” However, progression is limited because several points repeat the same idea rather than building a sequence of reasons. The second paragraph contains advice, a prediction about money running out, and examples of travel and study in one long stretch, so the relationships between these ideas are not always clear. Some linking is also awkward, such as “same advice i would give,” and the conclusion largely restates the opening position. Organise each body paragraph around one reason, then use clear references and transitions to connect explanation and example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough everyday vocabulary to communicate the central topic, including “basic necessity,” “save your money,” “invest,” and “future.” There are also attempts to express ideas in different ways, such as “daily life” and “multiple reasons.” However, the range is limited and several phrases are repetitive or imprecise, including repeated references to “money” and “do what ever I want to do.” Some collocations and word forms are inaccurate, for example “cause you benefit” and “The Saving could be use,” which make parts of the message less natural. Aim for more precise financial vocabulary and check common word partnerships. For instance, “build financial security” or “set money aside” would express your ideas more naturally than repeating “save money.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and the overall meaning is usually understandable. However, complex sentences are often not controlled successfully, and errors occur frequently enough to make some passages difficult to read. Examples include “saving money has becoming crucial,” “the money you are making at that time will soon going to be finish,” and “If young people … save's money … there would be no worries for me.” These show problems with verb forms, agreement and sentence construction. Punctuation also needs attention: the opening sentence joins two independent ideas with a comma before “well,” and several long sentences would be clearer if divided. Practise accurate present and future forms, and build longer sentences from a clear main clause with one supporting clause.
