Student answer (Band 5.5)
It has been observed that saving money for the future is essential for everyone. Although some people believe that it is important for everyone, including young people, to save money for their upcoming days. I strongly agree with the given statement that saving money is beneficial for every human being. In this essay i will present evidence in support of my stand with relevant examples.
The foremost argument to justify my stand is that money is the most important thing in our life. It fulfill all our need, want and desire. The fact is that we can't survive in this world without money. For example, money helps individual to fulfill their basic needs and live a quality life with their family. Furthermore, it should also be noted that money helps people to deal with difficult situation. For example, a young person suffers from a serious heart disease. If they have a lot of money to cover the medical expenses then they can survive otherwise they may lose their lives. Therfore, everyone should save money for their upcoming days.
Moreover, another reason to prove my point is that money helps people pursue their further education from top university, even from foreign university. A good example of this is that a student from a rich family can pursue their education abroad but the students from backward communities will not get opportunity to study in their own country. In addition, money play a vital role in everyone life. That's why, we should always spend our money wisely and enocurage young people to save money for the future that helps them during the tough time.
In conclusion, money plays vital role in everyone's life. It is equally important for all the individual to fulfill their needs, wants and desires. It is beneficial for us in the coming future. Therefore we should encourage every people including young people to save money for their future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you strongly agree that everyone, including young people, should save, and you give relevant reasons involving medical costs and education. These examples address the task, and the conclusion restates your view. However, the reasons are not developed equally. The medical example explains how savings could help in an emergency, while the education point is less clear: the contrast between a rich student studying abroad and students from disadvantaged communities does not fully show how saving by young people would address that inequality. The claim that money is essential is also broad and repeated rather than explained in depth. Develop each reason with a clearer link to saving and its future benefits.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the main ideas generally follow a sensible order. Linking phrases such as “Furthermore,” “Moreover” and “In conclusion” help signal progression. However, some connections feel mechanical, and the relationship between ideas is not always clear. For instance, the point about students from backward communities follows the claim about studying abroad but does not explain how it supports the argument for saving. Repetition of “money” and “for the future” also makes the progression less smooth. Use clearer topic sentences and explain how each example supports the paragraph’s main claim; vary references to avoid repeating the same terms.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main argument, including relevant terms such as “medical expenses,” “pursue their further education” and “difficult situation.” However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “money,” “important” and “future,” and several expressions are unnatural or imprecise. For example, “upcoming days” is not a natural way to refer to future needs, and “fulfill all our need, want and desire” uses an awkward combination of words. There are also spelling errors, including “Therfore” and “enocurage.” Build a more precise range for discussing financial planning, emergencies and education, and check spelling and collocations during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional example: “If they have a lot of money … then they can survive.” The overall meaning is usually clear, but some errors in agreement, articles, plurals and sentence construction remain. Examples include “It fulfill all our need,” “money play a vital role,” and “in everyone life”; these should use appropriate subject–verb agreement and possessive or plural forms. The opening sentence beginning “Although” is a fragment because it is not joined to a main clause. Capitalisation is also inconsistent, as in “i.” Practise checking each sentence for a complete main clause, then review agreement and articles while retaining your attempts at complex structures.
