Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, the expenditure of every sectors in people lifestyles are increasing, savings could be a possible soulution for this crisis. Some people believe that people from every age categories include young generation should practise save money for their better future. I strongly beleive and agree with this idea.
Even though there is planty of benefits of practising savings, there is few drawbacks also. One reasion is that, young prople should lead a lively and playful live rather than taking burden for future. It can caused them to became dull and losing interest towards life at very early age.For example, many child from less developnig country like bangladesh facing critical problem in daily life, even they unable to go school and faild to lead normal life like other childs due to proverty. Besides that, if they take too much about future it may hazared their current lifestyle.
Howerver, younger generation should learn to face the reality and how to take responsibility beforehand. Day by day everything is getting harder, if they take their future too lightly then it could be harmfull for them. For instance, if we think about Africa, in very young age they had to face the harsh reality and if they don't teach their child how to survive in this uncertain environment, it could bring unexpected problem to their life. Not only saving money is crucial for african younger but also for whole world. They should undersand the great value of money and restpect it.
All in all, every concept have positive and negative impact, but in this case i think we should focus on positive side more. Because without money we cannot survive for long time and our next generation should face this reality. It will help them to build their better and secure future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you strongly agree that young people should save, and you acknowledge a counterargument about enjoying life in the present. The response addresses both sides and gives examples, including children facing poverty and the need to prepare for an uncertain future. However, some ideas are less fully developed than others. The poverty example mainly illustrates hardship, rather than explaining how saving would help young people in that situation, and the reference to Africa is broad and not clearly connected to personal saving. To strengthen the argument, explain practical benefits—such as paying for education or handling emergencies—and make each example directly support your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph presenting a drawback, a paragraph supporting saving, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Even though,” “However,” and “All in all” help signal the direction of the argument. At times, though, the progression is less clear because ideas within a paragraph are not always connected explicitly. For example, the discussion moves from children’s poverty to the risk of worrying about the future without explaining the relationship between them. The repeated use of “For example” and “Besides that” also makes cohesion somewhat mechanical. Use clearer topic sentences and add brief explanations showing how each example supports the paragraph’s main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “savings,” “responsibility,” “uncertain environment,” and “secure future.” These choices make your main message understandable. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word combinations are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause, as in “soulution,” “planty,” “hazared,” and “take too much about future.” Some expressions are also imprecise or overly broad, such as “every sectors in people lifestyles” and “face the reality.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms such as “rising living costs,” “financial responsibility,” and “prepare for future expenses” would help you express your ideas more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a concession in “Even though there is…” and a conditional sentence beginning “if they take their future too lightly.” This shows some range, and the overall meaning is generally recoverable. However, some errors in sentence structure, agreement, verb forms, and punctuation reduce accuracy. For example, “the expenditure … are increasing” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “It can caused them to became” uses incorrect verb forms. The sentence beginning “Because without money…” is also a fragment. Practise checking the main verb in each clause, use the base form after modal verbs, and connect dependent clauses to complete sentences.
