Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is often believed that saving money is essential for every individuals. To secure future, every people as well as youngers should save money. I completely agree with this perspective because it allows people to overcome difficult circumtances.
One of the primary reasons why people should save money is to be able to tackle the unpredictable situations. The lives of people do not go same as they predicted because they may have many ups and downs in their financial stabilty. So, they always need to be prepared to handle these down conditions. When people save money even though it may be a small amount, it becomes a great support for their future. For instance, individuals who have been diagnosed with serious diseases such as cancer or kidney failure, they need a vast amount of money in their treatment processes as these treatments are too costly. The people who have savings can tackle this situation.
Money saving is also important for young people. It allows them to understand the values of money. Youngers who save money, they have a better understanding in money management. As a result, they may not waste money in unnecessary things. Rather, they can save their pocketmoney in their essential needs such as buying books or taking admission in some courses. For instance, if a student saves money, they do not need to ask money from their parents to fulfill their daily needs.
In my opinion, this is a topic which is very relevant to modern society. I believe quite strongly that people of all stages should save money for their future. As it helps them to endure critical situations as well as youngers learn money management effectively.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
Your position is clear from the introduction to the conclusion: you completely agree that people, including young people, should save. You address both the general value of savings in emergencies and the particular benefit for young people, supporting these points with examples such as treatment costs and students buying books or courses. This covers the task and gives relevant support. However, some claims are broad or only briefly explained—for example, the student example does not show in detail how saving develops responsible financial habits or prepares young people for later life. Develop each example further and explain its connection to your argument. A more specific illustration of a future goal, such as education or independent living, would also strengthen the response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs with distinct reasons, and a concluding restatement of your view. The progression from financial emergencies to young people’s money management is logical, and phrases such as “One of the primary reasons” and “As a result” help signal relationships between ideas. This provides a coherent foundation. To make the links more flexible and precise, avoid relying on repeated patterns such as “For instance” and “As a result,” and ensure references are clear. In “As it helps them to endure critical situations as well as youngers learn money management,” the relationship between the two points is awkward; separate them or use a clearer linking structure. Stronger transitions between examples and explanations would also improve flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “unpredictable situations,” “financial stability,” “money management,” and “treatment processes.” These choices help communicate your main ideas, and the meaning is generally understandable. However, the range is limited by repeated use of “money,” “save,” and “youngers,” while several word forms, spellings, and collocations are inaccurate. Examples include “every individuals,” “financial stabilty,” “pocketmoney,” and “a better understanding in money management.” These errors sometimes make the phrasing less natural and can slow the reader. Build a wider set of accurate expressions for saving, budgeting, emergencies, and future plans, and check spelling and collocations carefully. Prefer natural forms such as “young people” and “understanding of money management.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause (“because it allows people…”) and a conditional example (“if a student saves money…”). The overall meaning remains clear, but control is uneven: errors in agreement, articles, sentence construction, and punctuation recur. For example, “every people … should save” has an agreement problem, while “The lives of people do not go same as they predicted” has an unclear grammatical structure. The sentence beginning “For instance, individuals who have been diagnosed…” is also incomplete in its construction because the opening clause is not properly connected to the main clause. Practise building accurate complex sentences and check subject–verb agreement, articles, and clause boundaries. More reliable control would make your ideas easier to follow.
