Student answer (Band 6.0)
People should do proper management for everything that is related to their future decisions and conditions. Man of every age especially younger ones must have some cash that they might need in their future. I strongly agree that every person should have savings. In this essay, I will explain the resaons for this.
The primary resaon is that life is unpredictable. By this I mean that you cannot predict something in your lives. There is no proper time for every happening of life. You do not know that you might have an accident on your way to factory or college. It is also possible that you are being robbed by robbers on the road or outside your house. If you have some savings, it will always gives you a plenty of benefits in unexpected moments. For example,if some money is saved by the students have part time jobs while studying and workers who have short contracts, they will make their livings easily when they get fired from the job.
Another factor why i support savings is that it will give you comfort in your hard time. When people specially adults are fired all of sudden, there will be huge pressure on them how to eat not only themselves but also their families with empty pockets. They will be depressed and they might get some critical health issues. This does not mean that people do not spend lively on their basic needs in the tension of future, but they should spend frugally. However, those people who saved something from their monthly incomes for future will be at ease during that time. Altough they are also jobless, they will find other opportunities without any worries.
In conclusion, savings have a lot of positive outcomes not only in your future but also in your present time. I stongly believe that everyone must save somthing for being at ease in unexpected moments of life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction—“I strongly agree”—and remains consistent in the conclusion. You give two relevant reasons: savings can help with unpredictable events, such as accidents or job loss, and can reduce financial pressure during unemployment. The example of students with part-time jobs and workers on short contracts also supports the discussion. However, some points are more fully explained than others. The first paragraph lists several possible emergencies, but the link between these events and the amount or role of savings could be clearer. The second reason repeats the idea of job loss rather than developing a distinct benefit. Explain how savings provide security, for example by covering essential expenses while someone seeks new work.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs organised around reasons, and a conclusion. Topic sentences such as “The primary reason is that life is unpredictable” help readers follow the argument, and phrases including “For example” and “In conclusion” signal the direction of the discussion. At times, however, cohesion feels mechanical because the paragraphs rely on repeated transitions and similar references to job loss. Some connections are also unclear: the long example beginning “if some money is saved by the students” is difficult to follow, and “By this I mean” is followed by a broad repetition rather than a precise explanation. Use clearer sentence links and make each paragraph develop a distinct point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to discuss financial security and hardship, including “unpredictable,” “unexpected moments,” “monthly incomes,” and “opportunities.” These choices make the main ideas understandable, and you attempt some less common expressions. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or unnatural, as in “proper management for everything,” “a plenty of benefits,” “make their livings,” and “spend lively.” Spelling errors such as “resaons,” “Altough,” and “somthing” also reduce accuracy. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding your position, but they limit precision and naturalness. Build a bank of common financial collocations, such as “manage finances,” “cover living expenses,” and “save for emergencies,” and proofread spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “If you have some savings” and a contrast introduced by “Although they are also jobless.” Most sentences communicate the intended meaning, and the paragraph structure gives you opportunities to show a wider range. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly with agreement and verb forms: “it will always gives” should be “it will always give,” and “people … are fired all of sudden” needs a more accurate construction. The sentence beginning “For example, if some money is saved…” is also difficult to control because its clauses do not connect clearly. Check subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries, and simplify long examples when needed.
