Student answer (Band 5.5)

Saving money for future use is very important for everyone as well as for young people. Many people told us about saving the money is a good habit and do not waste money on unseful things.

I completely agree with this point that having a backup money for future use is very important everyone including young people also make this habit to save money.

The primary reason why I agree with this view is that we do not predict any mishap that we face in future or if we have a fixed income and we want to buy a new house, car, or any other thing which is not in our budget then this money help us to get that thing in a need of time. Another point is that this money gives you a secure feel for the future.

Furthermore, if this habit is developed in ypur personality you will witnessed that your spending habit decrease with the passsage of time. THere is a saying that "Spending habit making you poor and also make you rich too it is way how you spend your money". One of my friend is financial advisor he narrated me so much stories regarding to there is huge gaint in pakistani sweets named nirala that company put all his money to real estate bussiness and become bank corrupt after sometime if they spend their money in chucks they have the oppurtunity of comeback but they do not have that money for this.

In conclusion, there are many good and bad habits in over life but we have to leave that habits that have negative impact on our future and try to develop that habits that give rewards in our future and saving money is one of them

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you completely agree that everyone, including young people, should save. You give relevant reasons, including preparing for unexpected events and major purchases, and explain that saving can provide security. The example about a Pakistani sweets company also attempts to support your point about financial decisions. However, some ideas are less fully developed than others. The company example is difficult to follow and its connection to personal saving is not made explicit; the point about spending habits is also asserted rather than explained. To strengthen the response, clarify how each example proves your argument and develop the specific benefits of saving for young people, such as education or becoming financially independent.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a coherent overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting reasons, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “The primary reason,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the argument. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, and the progression within the second body paragraph is not always clear. The saying and the story about the company appear abruptly, while the relationship between them and the main point needs clearer explanation. Some references are also unclear, particularly “this money” and “they” in the company example. Use topic sentences to establish each paragraph’s main idea, then connect examples explicitly to that idea and use precise references.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “fixed income,” “secure,” “real estate,” and “financial advisor.” However, the range is limited and several noticeable word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “backup money,” “unseful things,” “huge gaint,” and “bank corrupt”; these are not natural or accurate expressions in context. Repetition of “money,” “future,” and “habit” also limits flexibility. Build a more precise range of financial vocabulary and check spelling carefully. For example, use “emergency savings” for a financial reserve and “went bankrupt” to describe a company’s failure.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “if we have a fixed income and we want to buy a new house…” and a time clause beginning “if this habit is developed.” However, some sentence structures are faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and punctuation sometimes make meaning harder to follow. For instance, “this money help us” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “you will witnessed” combines the wrong verb forms. The opening sentence of the second paragraph also lacks a clear grammatical connection between its ideas. Practise building complete sentences with one clear main clause, and check verb forms and agreement when editing.
