Student answer (Band 5.5)

Money is the part of our daily life as our daily resources cannot be purchased without it, in my point of view i completly agree with this statment that its essential for everyone to save money inculding child for ther future.

As i mentioned that the money is essential for our daily life, like we have to eat something for out good health, wear someting to look nice, or to buy a shelther to protect ourself, As these resources can be achived with the bigger amount of money, and for that we need to save money.

as i mention in turms of getting better health we need alot of money, even the life is unpredictable as any accidents can occur to you or your loved ones so in that cases you need to be prepared for situations like this if i share a personal experience there was a time when my little brother got hurt by one of his friend unintionally, his eye got hurt so badly that the blood started in side his eye and the situation was serous when we contacted with the doctor he said that if did not done his treatment on time he can lose his eye. so when we admitted him is a bigger hospital, where they said that the surgery will be needed as soon as possible, and when we saw the amount of the surgery bill it was too expensive for us after brrowing some money from our friends the surgery completed succssfully that was when we relize that its important to save money for sitatuation like these

in conclusion i completly agree with the statment that its essential for every one to save money even for the young people for their future

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you state that you “completly agree” that everyone, including young people, should save. You also give a relevant personal example about your brother’s injury and the family’s difficulty paying for surgery, which supports the value of having money available for emergencies. However, the response addresses the topic only partly: most of the discussion focuses on daily necessities and medical costs, while the specific importance of saving for young people’s future is not explained. Several points are asserted rather than developed, such as the claim that good health requires “alot of money.” To strengthen the response, explain how saving can help young people with future goals, education, or independence, and develop each reason with clearer explanation or an example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction states your view, the body gives reasons and a personal example, and the conclusion repeats your position. The story about your brother also provides a clear central example. However, progression is limited because the body moves from daily needs to health and then to an emergency without clearly separating or linking these ideas. Connectors such as “As i mentioned” and “as i mention” are repetitive, and some links do not clearly show the relationship between ideas. The long paragraph about the injury would be easier to follow if divided into shorter stages: the incident, the medical advice, and the financial lesson. Use clearer paragraphing and a wider range of accurate transitions to guide the reader.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “save money,” “resources,” “treatment,” “surgery,” and “bill.” The personal example also gives you opportunities to use relevant language about medical costs and emergencies. However, the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or awkward, such as “Money is the part of our daily life,” “a bigger amount of money,” and “the blood started in side his eye.” Frequent spelling errors—including “completly,” “statment,” and “brorrowing”—also make the writing less clear and reduce the impression of control. Build a more precise vocabulary for financial planning and future needs, and check spelling and common word combinations carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to express reasons and consequences using longer sentences, for example, the sentence beginning “even the life is unpredictable” and the account of the surgery. This shows an effort to connect ideas rather than relying only on short statements. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some parts difficult to follow. For instance, “if did not done his treatment on time he can lose his eye” has problems with clause structure and verb forms, while “when we admitted him is a bigger hospital” is also grammatically unclear. There are recurring issues with articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using subordinate clauses and check verb forms and punctuation.
