Student answer (Band 5.0)

from my prospective this is nice to do for all becuse nobody is helping in downfall. even our friends or relatives when the money topic is comes all loves once is say no infront of you. so save money is good for their future. save money helps when you needs medical treatment or your family needs or any other mishappen even young people also becuse all have their own family and expences are their. if young people save when they are young then the save amount have may be lots of zero or this money help in danger or when nobody their for you to support and care. in this world their no one love other people. even if your friends have lots of money .this expence or money is not for you. thats her or him personal wealth .they dont going to give you or share with you. gods knows when your money give benifits to you .

from my experience my grandmother is sick and in treatment wee need lots of money around 10 lakhs so my father call all his friends and uncle neighbours but all give excuses and say no to my father. and after that my father suddenly say heyy i have savings and this money is going to be help me. and that day toh presents period i always remember thats only you will help yourself nobody give you shoulder and help. and money is the thing which makes goods or bad your relation with all

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear: you agree that saving is important for everyone, including young people. You give relevant reasons, such as paying for medical treatment and being able to manage when others cannot help, and the account of your grandmother’s treatment provides a specific personal example. This addresses the task and supports your view. However, some points are asserted rather than explained—for example, the claim that “in this world there no one love other people” is a broad generalisation, and the discussion of young people’s future responsibilities could be developed more clearly. To strengthen the response, explain how saving benefits young people over time and qualify general claims with more precise reasoning. The personal example is a useful foundation for fuller development.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation: the response first gives reasons for saving and then introduces a personal example about your grandmother. This helps the reader identify the main support for your opinion. However, progression within the first section is difficult to follow because several ideas run together, and the second section moves abruptly from the example to a general conclusion about relationships. Linking expressions such as “for example” and “as a result” are limited, while repeated use of “and” does not always show how ideas relate. Paragraphing is present, but clearer topic sentences and a more deliberate sequence—reason, explanation, example, conclusion—would create a stronger overall progression. Use pronouns carefully so it is always clear who “they” or “you” refers to.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use a basic range of vocabulary connected to the topic, including “save money,” “medical treatment,” “family,” “savings,” and “personal wealth.” These choices make your central message understandable, and the example includes relevant financial detail. However, vocabulary is repetitive, and several inaccurate word choices or forms make parts of the response difficult to interpret, such as “downfall,” “mishappen,” “lots of zero,” and “presents period.” Spelling errors, including “becuse,” “benifits,” and “expences,” also reduce clarity. Aim to use more precise phrases for financial hardship, emergencies, and the value of savings, and check spelling and word forms. A wider, more accurate range would help express your ideas without relying so often on “money” and “help.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response mainly uses simple statements, with some attempts to connect ideas through clauses, as in “if young people save when they are young then…” This shows an effort to vary sentence structure, but control is limited. Errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur throughout: for example, “when the money topic is comes,” “all loves once is say no,” and “my father call all his friends.” Some sentences lack a clear grammatical structure, particularly “and that day toh presents period i always remember.” Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent, making sentence boundaries hard to identify. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then build longer sentences using “because,” “when,” and “if,” checking that each clause has a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
