Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is to be belived that saving money is necessary for future investment and it should be done by every age group icluding adults or younge genration.I partially agree to this statement. In this essay we're going to disscuss both point of views wether we should save money for our better future or not.
I personally believe that saving money always help you out during hard times, you can do sveral things by saving money either you can invest your money so that you can enjoy your life once you're retired. In recent times people spend large amount on their education so with your save money you can pay your fees easily. Parents should also teach their children how money works and how to save it for your own good. Foe example when i was 6 year old my mother opend my bank account and tell me to save money so i can get whatever i want to and with my money and i get my first bicycle with my own money.
Whreas i firmly belive their should be balance between saving and spending your money. We should spend money on ourselve ,buying whatever we want or spending it the way we found pleasure in.We should train ourselves in such a way that we know how money flows and how can we get control it.
To concluse my views i would highly recommend saving the money in a way iyt should help you future and brings goods.Young people are energetic and eager to earn money and utillizing it so we should learn how money works and we can make most out of it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a relevant response and state a qualified position: “I partially agree,” then explain that saving can help in difficult times and support retirement or education costs. The childhood example of saving for a bicycle also makes the topic personal and relevant. However, the position is not fully consistent: the opening promises to discuss both views, but the essay does not clearly explain why people might choose not to save, and the paragraph about spending mainly recommends balance rather than developing a distinct counterargument. Several points, such as teaching children how money works, are introduced but not explained in depth. To strengthen the response, clarify exactly how far you agree and develop each main reason with a specific explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable introduction, body paragraphs and conclusion, and the ideas are generally grouped by topic: benefits of saving are followed by the importance of balancing saving and spending. Some linking expressions, including “In recent times,” “For example” and “To conclude,” help signal the direction of the essay. However, progression is not always clear. The introduction says both viewpoints will be discussed, while the body does not clearly fulfil that plan, and the final paragraph introduces young people’s energy and earning without connecting this point fully to the argument. Connectors such as “Whereas” are not used to establish a clear contrast, and references such as “it” and “this” can be vague. Use a clearer paragraph plan and make each paragraph’s central point explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a basic range of topic-related vocabulary, including “invest,” “retired,” “education,” “balance,” and “spend,” so the main ideas are usually understandable. There are also attempts to express more specific concepts, such as “how money flows” and “make most out of it.” However, vocabulary is limited and some choices or combinations are inaccurate or unclear, including “future investment,” “save money for our better future,” and “brings goods.” Frequent spelling errors—such as “belived,” “disscuss,” “wether,” and “concluse”—also make the writing less fluent to read. Build a more precise range of collocations for personal finance and check spelling carefully; for example, distinguish between saving for future needs and investing money to earn returns.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including a conditional idea in “so I can get whatever I want” and a contrast between saving and spending. This shows some effort to vary sentence forms. However, the range remains limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence construction, verb forms, agreement, articles and punctuation. For example, “saving money always help you out” needs subject–verb agreement, while “my mother … tell me” shifts incorrectly from past to present. The sentence beginning “In recent times people spend large amount” also has problems with article and number, and several long sentences run together without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate complex sentences, then proofread for tense consistency, agreement and sentence boundaries.
