Student answer (Band 6.0)

Saving money for future is important step every one should take and I strongly agree with this concept because we can not predict what financial challanges we are going to face in future so we better prepare ourselves today. Also the young people should save money for thier future so that they should not fall back in education sector due to lack of money.

Many people may have a high paying job or rapidly growing business that make their lives easier but these can not guarantee a financial stability in future if the spend the same amount of money they earn.

Future is unpredictable , a business growing rapidly today may fall targically tomorrow . Therefore, to be on the safe side people should save money so if their jobs or business in future become unable to fullfill their needs ,they will have another resource as well.

For example: If a business man saves money during his business's prime time , he will have no issue if his business falls because the saved money can help him build a new one.

I also believe that young people should save money for their future because the inflation is increasing day by day and young people struggle to get better education. A student with great knowlege would never want to suffer due to lack of money. Saving money for future can make young people overcome the financial obstacles in their education.

for example: A college student who saves money from his part time job can go to a renowned university by handling the exapanses himself.

In conclusion, I strongly agree that people should save money for future so that they don't have to compromise on the quality of their life in the future due to lack of money.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear throughout: you strongly agree that people, including young people, should save, and you give two relevant reasons—financial uncertainty and the cost of education. The examples of a business owner saving during a successful period and a student using part-time earnings to fund university help support your argument. This meets the task well, and the explanation of financial uncertainty is reasonably developed. However, the education point is less fully explored: you mention inflation and difficulty accessing better education, but do not explain in detail how saving helps young people manage these pressures or why this applies broadly. More precise development of that point, with a little less generalisation, would make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present separate reasons, and the conclusion restates your position. The progression from financial security to educational costs is easy to follow, and examples are placed alongside the relevant claims. However, some linking is mechanical, particularly the repeated use of “For example” and “because,” and the opening of the second body paragraph could connect more smoothly to the first. Referencing is occasionally unclear, as in “these can not guarantee,” where the reader must infer that “these” refers to a job or business. Use a wider range of transitions and clearer references to make the connections between ideas more natural.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including relevant terms such as “financial stability,” “inflation,” “financial obstacles,” and “renowned university.” There are also attempts to express ideas beyond basic everyday language. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are noticeable, for example “challanges,” “thier,” “tragically,” “fullfill,” and “exapanses.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “fall back in education sector” and “another resource.” These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding your argument, but they limit precision and naturalness. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for discussing savings, employment, and education.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including a reason clause in “because we cannot predict” and a conditional structure beginning “if a business man saves money.” The overall meaning remains clear, but some grammatical errors occur across the response. Examples include missing articles in “for future” and “important step,” subject–verb agreement in “a business … that make,” and the faulty construction “so that they should not fall back.” There are also punctuation and sentence-boundary issues, such as the comma before “a business growing rapidly today” and inconsistent spacing around punctuation. Practise accurate articles, agreement, and conditional sentences while retaining your attempts at longer structures.
