Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays, there is a great values of money for every person to use it for their requirment. Its really benificial for individual to save money especial for younger one to face their future. From my point of view, saving money is crucial for adults as well as childern for thier truble and tough situations.

From my persfactive, every one should be save money for their future because of following reasons. Firstly, saving money for futrure is important, because when a person become old then he will not be able to earned. So when a person become adults, then he must be work hard to earn more money beside from their requirment which they can easily used when he become old and not be able to do any work to earned money for servivement.

Secondly, it is also usefull for person especial for younger one to save money to use it in any trouble and difficult situations. For example, one year ago, suddenly, I realised that I needed some money for my medication, but at that time I have not money to buy madecine for myself. So at that time I decided to must be save money for later as well as future for my requirnment. Moreover, saving money is also important for living a good life, because nowadays every thing depends on money to buy it like a car, home and so on.

In conclussion, it is better for everyone especially for young one to save money for future to live better life, for difficult situations and as well as for later use.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you agree that people, including young people, should save, and you give relevant reasons about retirement, emergencies and living well. The personal example about needing money for medication helps make the emergency point concrete. This addresses the task, but the reasons are not developed equally. The retirement point is explained at length, while the claim that savings help people “live a good life” is only briefly supported by listing a car and a home. The discussion also focuses mainly on adults becoming old, so the specific value of saving early for young people could be explained more fully. Extend each main reason with a clearer explanation or example to make the argument more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The ideas generally progress from the need to save for old age to using savings in emergencies, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” “For example” and “In conclusion” help readers follow this sequence. However, the linking is sometimes mechanical, with repeated use of “saving money” and “for future,” and several sentences rely on “so” or “because” to connect ideas. Some references are also unclear, as in “which they can easily used,” where the reader must infer what “which” refers to. Use a wider range of transitions and make links between claims and explanations more explicit to improve flow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “medication,” “difficult situations,” “earn” and “future.” However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, such as “requirment,” “benificial,” “servivement” and “madecine.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, including “a great values of money” and “save money for later.” These errors sometimes make the reader pause, even though the overall message remains understandable. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations for saving and financial security. More precise expressions would also help you avoid repeating general words such as “money,” “important” and “good life.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and the use of “because,” “when” and “which” shows an effort to connect ideas. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement and sentence construction can make parts difficult to follow. For example, “every one should be save money” needs a different verb pattern, while “when a person become old” has a subject–verb agreement error. In “he will not be able to earned,” the verb form after “to” is incorrect. There are also problems with articles and sentence boundaries. Practise building accurate sentences with modal verbs and time clauses, then check each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
