Student answer (Band 5.0)
Individuals believe that it is important for everyone to save moneu including young citizen for their future. So i slightly agree with this statement because many people do not have much money, thus they do not save money for their future.
The first argument is that the many people do not collect money. The main reason is that several citizen do not have any jobs they do not manage their present budget, therefore they do not think to save their money. Furthermore, some people have jobs and earn a much money, thus they can easily save money but they do not collect the money for their future. I think money save should be important those people which do not save money. For instance, when someone have more money but they waste their money on unnecessary products so they should be saved their money.
The second argument is that many people save their money for future. The main reason is that some people save money for future, but they do noy live better in present life because they only focus on their future. By contrast, some other people which focous on their present and future, because they have more money. So they invest their money in many companies, because it is prefferable to their future and these people live peacefully. For example, when people do good manage their money in present and future and they do not waste their money on useless things they success in their life.
In conclusion, i agree only those people which can save their money, so it is important for thse people they save their money and success in their life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the topic and gives a position, but the extent of agreement is not consistently clear. The opening says “I slightly agree,” while the conclusion shifts to agreeing only for people who can save, without explaining this qualification. The two body paragraphs offer relevant points about people who cannot manage their budgets and those who focus too heavily on the future, but these ideas remain general and are not fully explained. The examples about wasting money and investing in companies are relevant, yet they do not show clearly why saving is important for everyone, including young people. To strengthen the response, state a precise position and develop each reason with a specific explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “The first argument,” “Furthermore” and “In conclusion” help identify its parts. However, progression within the paragraphs is often unclear: the first paragraph moves from unemployment to higher earners and then to unnecessary purchases without showing how these points connect. The second paragraph contrasts present and future priorities, but the relationship between saving, investing and living peacefully is not made explicit. Repeated use of “the main reason,” “some people” and “thus” also makes cohesion mechanical. Organise each paragraph around one clear claim, then explain it and connect the example directly to that claim.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the general topic, with relevant terms such as “budget,” “invest,” “future” and “unnecessary products.” However, the range is limited and several expressions are repeated, especially “save money,” “future” and “people.” Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear, including “collect money,” “earn a much money,” “money save” and “do good manage their money.” There are also spelling errors such as “moneu,” “noy,” “focous” and “prefferable,” which make the writing less controlled. Build a more precise range around personal finance and check spelling; for example, use “set money aside” or “manage their finances” where appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts both simple and longer sentences, often linking ideas with “because,” “but” and “therefore.” However, complex sentences are frequently faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence boundaries sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “several citizen do not have any jobs they do not manage,” “when someone have more money,” and “they should be saved their money.” The conclusion also contains an incomplete or awkward construction: “it is important for thse people they save their money.” Capitalisation of “I” is inconsistent, and some sentences join independent clauses without suitable punctuation. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and complete sentence patterns before adding more complex links.
