Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You take a generally supportive position, arguing that saving helps people manage difficult situations and gives young people financial knowledge. The discussion of families involving children in financial decisions and the value of saving at a young age is relevant to the question. However, the extent of your agreement is not stated clearly at the outset, and the final paragraph introduces “both bad and good things” without explaining any disadvantages. Several points, such as saving bringing “peace” or helping people lead a comfortable life, are asserted rather than supported with a specific example or explanation. State your position directly, then develop two reasons with concrete examples; this would make the response address the task more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, moving from an introduction to reasons about young people’s financial awareness and then to a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Nowadays,” “As a result,” and “However” help signal relationships between ideas. Nevertheless, the overall progression is not always clear: the second paragraph combines independence, family circumstances, financial discipline, and investing without showing precisely how each point supports the main argument. The conclusion also raises a contrast between good and bad effects that has not been developed earlier. Some sentences are crowded, and spacing and punctuation around transitions are inconsistent. Use one main idea per paragraph, connect each supporting example explicitly to your position, and make the conclusion reflect the argument already presented.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “financial safety,” “financial discipline,” “independence,” and “investing,” and these choices make your subject clear. There is also some effort to use less common expressions, such as “financial conditions” and “difficult situations.” However, the range is limited and several phrases are inaccurate or unnatural, including “peace in monitary issues,” “financial handlings,” and “bought up with confidence.” Spelling errors such as “finacial,” “genaration,” and “imporatnt” are noticeable and reduce the accuracy of the writing. Aim for standard collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, use “financial security,” “managing money,” and “brought up to be independent.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “as,” “so that,” and “if,” but control is inconsistent. Errors occur frequently in basic sentence patterns: “everyone are” should be “everyone is,” and “it very important” needs the verb “is.” The sentence beginning “The fact that everyone must need safety” is structurally unclear, while “People these days are bought up with confidence” uses an incorrect passive construction. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and punctuation, as in “One of the best way” and the comma spacing in “Nowadays ,”. These errors sometimes make the reader work to understand the intended meaning. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and build complex sentences from clear, complete clauses.
