In community halls, its showing 18% of dance classes where maturity is for the 11 to 16 age group and this group is dominating for modern dance here but in school halls, after school timing its showing the tap dance is in domination for under 11 age group. The private studios are leading the chart for ballet dance with highest ratio of 48% for under 11 age group. However, the least area is college-based studios with only 10% for just below 11 age group.
In summary, the chart is overall leading for the most younger ones here in ballet dance but the modern dance is just behind the lead which is representing the older dancers. However, the tap dance is almost similar in percentage for both age groups.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the task by identifying the main features of the charts. However, the analysis is somewhat superficial and lacks a clear overview of the data. While you mention specific percentages, the comparison between age groups and locations is occasionally confusing, such as the reference to 'maturity' which is not clearly defined in the data. To improve, ensure you group information logically—perhaps by location or dance type—and provide a more cohesive summary of the trends rather than listing individual data points. The inclusion of all relevant categories is present, but the interpretation of the 'main features' could be more analytical to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and occasionally inaccurate, such as the repetitive use of 'however' and 'in summary'. The progression of ideas is sometimes disjointed, particularly in the second paragraph where the transition between locations feels abrupt. To improve, try using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that guides the reader through the data comparison. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, making it difficult to track which age group or location is being discussed.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision required for higher bands. Phrases like 'the charts is rendering' and 'maturity is for' are awkward and indicate a limited control over collocations. You rely on basic descriptors like 'leading' and 'dominating' repeatedly. To improve, aim to use more precise terminology related to data reporting, such as 'account for', 'constitute', or 'a significant proportion'. Expanding your range of vocabulary to include more varied ways of describing trends and proportions will help demonstrate a more sophisticated command of the language.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('The charts is rendering', 'its showing') and awkward phrasing ('in one of a town of Australia'). While the meaning is generally clear, these errors are persistent and distract from the quality of the writing. The sentence structures are relatively simple, and there is a lack of complex grammatical forms. To improve, focus on basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles and prepositions. Practising more complex sentence structures, such as using relative clauses or passive voice for data description, would also be beneficial.
