The charts below give information on the location and types of dance classes young people in a town in Australia are currently attending.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The graph illustrates the place and location of the dance classes of youth in a town of Australia who are currently attending.

Overall, private studios are the first priority for dancers and college studios are the least priority while community halls and school halls are common locations for dancers. Whereas Ballet dance has maximum under 11 students and modern dance has more students of under 16 and ballet dance has least strength of under 16 students.

Private studios are on the top list having 48% and school halls have 24% while, community halls has 18% third on the list. College studios are the last choice with 10%. Ballet dance has the most favoured with aged of 11 having 600 dancers and 300 students of under16. The other type of dance in tap dance having 450 students of under 11 and 410 students of under 16 and the last is modern dance having least under 11 dancers with the quantity of 300 but, it is the top priority for under 16 students with the strength of 500 students.
