Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response covers all parts of the task by identifying the main features of both charts. You successfully highlight the popularity of private studios and the age-related trends in dance styles. However, there are some inaccuracies in the data reporting. For instance, you state that 'both aged group account for almost same number in tap dance' and later mention 'around 430 individuals from each age group', which contradicts the visual data where the bars are clearly different. Additionally, the statement that 'there is almost equal number (around 300) of individuals joine ballet and modern dance' is confusing and does not accurately reflect the provided figures. More careful data extraction is required to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The response is logically organized into an introduction, an overview, and two body paragraphs. You use some cohesive devices such as 'In terms of', 'By contrast', and 'Looking at', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'The dance classes that hold in community halls'. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two different data sets. To improve, ensure that the relationship between sentences is smoother and that referencing (e.g., 'those who aged 11-16') is grammatically accurate to avoid confusion.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'illustrates', 'popular', 'equivalent to', and 'observed'. There are some noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'private studions' (spelling), 'attracted toward' (should be 'are attracted to'), and 'are participated highly' (incorrect passive construction). While these errors do not impede communication, they limit the precision of your writing. To reach a higher band, focus on using more sophisticated vocabulary and ensuring correct word forms and collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('the private studios, which is the highest popular loaction'), incorrect verb forms ('younger peopler who aged under 11 attand'), and awkward phrasing ('the number of younger peopler who aged under 11 attand more in ballet dance'). Punctuation is generally functional, but the frequency of these grammatical slips prevents the response from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and tense consistency.
