The charts below give information on the location and types of dance classes young people in a town in Australia are currently attending.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The pie chart and bar chart provide data about the location of dance classes and the participation of youngsters in a town in Australia currently.

Overall, the private studios have the highest proportion, and college halls have the least share for the location of dance classes, while kids have the largest participation in ballet dance.

Firstly, the private studios emerged as the favorite site for dance location with a 48% share, while school halls have half the proportion of private studios and account for 24%. The community halls category has a limited 18%, while college-based studios have the lowest proportion and are limited to 10%.

For ballet dance, the age group under 11 has the highest participation with 600, while the age group 11-16 showed less interest with 300 individuals. There is a minor difference for the participation of tap dance, in which 440 and around 420 youngsters participate in this category. In modern dance class, age group 11-16 outweighs the under-11 group and moves to 520.
