The charts below give information on the location and types of dance classes young people in a town in Australia are currently attending.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
"The provided pie chart illustrates the proportion of young residents who participate in various dance classes across different locations in an Australian town.
Overall, private studios and school halls accounted for the vast majority of attendees, whereas college-based studios registered the lowest share. Furthermore, private studios emerged as the most popular dance venue overall.
To begin with, private studios had the highest share of dance classes at 48% in Australia, School halls and after-school young people using as a dance classes at 24%. Young residents are attending dance classes in community halls and other, which is 18%. College-based studios had the lowest share of young residents because they are using very less this location for the dance classes at 10%
Turning to the next details, second graph shows the different types of dance classes by age group. Under 11-16 and under 11 age group. Ballet recorded the largest share of dance classes, which is 600 students are participating under 11 age bracket, However, 11-16 age group students are participating in modern dance classes over 500 students.
