The charts below give information on the location and types of dance classes young people in a town in Australia are currently attending.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The given pie chart and bar graph illustrate the information of location and variety of dance classes youngsters are currently attending in a town in Australia.

Overall, it can be seen that most of the people attend classes in the Private studios. Ballet has the highest number of participants.

To begin with, majority of the individuals attend dance classes in the private studios. Dance classes in the school hall after-school is attended by almost 24% people. In the commuity hall & other, 18% individuals attend classes. Only 10% people attend the classes in the college-based studios.

Ballet dance classes are attended by almost 900 persons in which 600 are in under 11 age group and 300 are between 11-16 years old. Nearly 450 individuals under 11 and little more than 400 in second age group have joined the Tap classes. Modern dance classes in attended by little more that 800 people. From which 300 individuals are less than 11 years old.
