The charts below give information on the location and types of dance classes young people in a town in Australia are currently attending.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The two charts below provide a breakdown of locations of different types of dance classes, with relative attendance of youth within an Australian town.

The dance courses are counducted in 4 various locations, with one dominating by holding roughly half of all classes. On the other hand, number of students of two various age groups in a single type of dance class is inversely proportional to each other. This relationship applies to two other dancing styles as well.

The private studios host majority of the classes, where as college based studios hold least; 48% and 10%, respectively. Two other places are school-halls, where lessons are held only after-school, and community halls.

The dance styles taught in this town are ballet, tap, and modern. Most of the children under the age of 11 engage in ballet, however that's completely opposite with kids between the ages of 11 and 16. Roughly same number of students practise tap style of dancing. And finally modern style is pursued by least number of under 11 students and most number of students between 11 and 16.

There are several grammatical errors present, such as 'number of students of two various age groups... is inversely proportional' (missing articles or pluralisation issues) and 'however that's completely opposite' (informal contraction and imprecise phrasing). Punctuation is generally acceptable, but grammatical control fluctuates. These errors do not impede communication, placing the response solidly at Band 6.0.
