The charts below give information on the location and types of dance classes young people in a town in Australia are currently attending.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The pie chart illustrates the proportion of location of dance classes, while the bar chart illustrates the different type of dance classes held on those locations by their age group.

In the pie chart, the higest proportion for the location is accounted for private studios, while the college-based studios made up the smallest share. The school halls are representing 24% of share approximately one-quarter, whereas community halls and other are accounted for 18% share. It is evident that private studios recorded 48% which is nearly half of the total, by contrast remaning catogeries made share of total above the half.

In the bar graph, the ballet dance experience the highest number of students with the age group under 11, by contrast modern dance recorded the lowest number of students with the same group catogery. Tap dance have 450 studnets in the age group under 11, whereas the age group of 11-16 have 430 students, having the difference of just 30 students among them. In the category of 11-16, ballet dance recorded 300 students, similary the modern dance recorded exactly the same number of student but in another catogery.
