The charts below give information on the location and types of dance classes young people in a town in Australia are currently attending.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The given chart illustrates the details about a location and variety of dance sessions youngsters are currently attending over a town in Australia.
Overall, the pie chats shows the information about the location of the dance classes in the town, where private studios are used the most and college based studio are used the least. Moreover, the bar graph represents the type of dance classes attended by age groups ranging from 11 to 16 years.The modern dance is the only type of dance which is attended least by the childrens of age 11 years.
To begin with in the pie we can as we can see the locations are bifurcated in various category, the private studio is used the most that is 48%,than the school halls are favourable location for 24% which is used after school hours gets over. The community halls and college based studioes are used least ranging from 18 % and 10% respectively. Moreover, in the bar chart the ballet and tap are mostly common for the age group under 11, ballet have upmost 600 number of studenst and tap have 445 number of students. for the same dance category the another age group is there too from 11 - 16, in ballet the strength of students is 300 and for tap it is 415. Whereas for modern it is totally opposite the strength of under 11 is lower as compared to 11-16 age group, the under 11 one are 300 in number whereas the age group 11-16 are ranging 515.
