The charts below give information on the location and types of dance classes young people in a town in Australia are currently attending.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
These diagrams provide information about locations and various types of dance such as ballet, tap and modern attended by young people in an Australian town.
Overall, most of the dance classes conducted in a private studio, whereas college-based studio is the place where fewest classes are arranged. Under 11 learners have dominance in ballet dance class. However, teenagers numerously approach modern dance.
Furthermore, about 48% of dance classes are organized in private studios, 24% of classes are conducted in school halls after the shool hours. Although college-based studios are least use for dance classes around 10%, classes istake place in community hall and other around 18%.
Additionally, 600 under 11 pupils are in ballet as largest group, consequently just 300 11-to-16 years old students are learning ballet. Tap classes have a similar ratio of both groups, at about 420 to 450. However, teenagers have dominance in modern classes with about 520 learners, while 300 under 11 students are doing modern classes.
