The charts below give information on the location and types of dance classes young people in a town in Australia are currently attending.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The information on the location and types of dance classes young people in a town in Australia are attending are depicted by the given charts with pie chart illustrating location of dance classes and bar chart showing types of dance classes on the basis of age group.

Overall the prima facie glance makes it quite evident that private studios and school halls contribute the vast majority as percentage of location of dance classes and number of students under the age of 11 and between 11-16 followed completely opposite trend.

Scrutinising deeper into obtainable information, the number of students under the age of 11 were 600 in Bailet which were the highest of all the given data. In mordern classes the people in the age group of 11-16 were around 500. The students in bailet under the age of 11 were doble the students in mordern classes of the same age.

Digging deeper into the chart, private studios contributed 48 percent of the total location of dance classes. The contribution of school halls in total dance classes location is half the private studios. College-based studios and community halls and other locations toghether contributed 28 percent as location dance classes
