The charts below give information on the location and types of dance classes young people in a town in Australia are currently attending.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The chart provides us with the information,which isabout the location of dance classes young people are attending in a town in Australia, while the graph illustrates the ratio by dividing the students into the age group between 11 to 16 according to their interests.
Highest percentage, where dance classes mostly takes place is Private studios, which is 48%.On the other hand , community halls and other is 18% in total, School halls is 24% and there dance classes are attended after school, whereas College-based studios are 10% occupied for the classes.
Similarly, the graph shows the types of dance classes, divided among different age groups. The highest ratio of students under age of 11 are more interested in Ballet, then the Tap and only 300 of them are in Modern type. Likewise students between the age group 11 to 16 are mostly in Modern type, which is 500 then Tap which includes 400 in total and then Ballet which has the lowest ratio and that is only 300.
