The charts below give information on the location and types of dance classes young people in a town in Australia are currently attending.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The charts illustrate data about location and types of dance classes that young people are contemporary attending in a town in Australia.
Overall, private studios account a large proportion of dance classes among the others, while college-based studios represent least figure. Additionally, in two types of dance classes under 11 age are greater than 11-16.
While the private studios represent 48%, which is by far the highest figure among the others, the school halls show the second largest percentage accounting 24%. The community halls and other equating only 18% and 10% by college-based studios.
The ballet dance involve the highest number of students who are under 11 about 600, while the students between 11-16 has only 300 number of students in proportion. Whereas in the tap dance, the students under 11 are approximately 470 and between 11-16 are above 400 just around 420. In contrast, the number of students under 11 are consist of 300 in the modern dance, which is lowest figure as compared to students between 11-16 are above the 500.
