The charts below give information on the location and types of dance classes young people in a town in Australia are currently attending.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The pie chart illustrates the data on the site of dance lessons that the youth in an area in Australia are presently taking. The bar graph depicts the kind of movement lesson that the youngsters in a town in Australia are enrolled in nowadays. The pie chart shows that the location of these sessions are divided between individual owned studios and public owned premises. The bar chart displays the age group of students taking which sort of classes.
Little less than half number of sessions are held in private studios, and almost a quater of these courses are conducted in school halls. 18% of the lessons are arranged at community halls followed by college based studios which accounts for the tenth part. The highest number of students under 11 are enrolled in ballet class, while the lowest portion of aged 11-16 are also taking the same classes The tap classes has almost an identical trend between these age groups. The modren classes has exactly opposite trend to that of ballet class.
Overall, the facts and figures represent the diversification of the studios and the prevalent type of lesson in a town in Australia
