The charts below give information on the location and types of dance classes young people in a town in Australia are currently attending.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

THE PIE CHART AND BAR CHART ILLUSTRATES THE LOCATION OF DANCE LEARNING CENTRES AND THE THREE TYPES OF DANCE CLASSES PRACTICED BY YOUNG AGE GROUP, IN A TOWN OF ONE COUNTRY IN EUROPE.

Overall, private studios have the highest number of locations available, followed by school halls, while college based studios have lowest available locations. Additionally, people under 11 age are mostly attending ballet classes on the other hand age group 11 to 16 practicing modern dance by high numbers. Where as, tap dance is almost similarly famous in both age group.

Private studios are more widespread in the town covering 48% of the total. second on the list is school halls 24% where students practice after school times. College based learning occupied only 10 percent which is the lowest, where as 18% part is played by community halls and other. Ballet dance is the favorite among under 11 years old that is 600 people are currently enrolled in ballet classes. About 450 younger age group are students in tap dance. Furthermore, only 300 people from this age group are into modern dance classes. In contrast, age group 11-16 are most interested in modern type dance and about 500 plus students are currently enrolled. Besides that, only 300 people are attending ballet type. Almost similar trend is observed for tap dance which is around 420 in numbers.
