The charts below give information on the location and types of dance classes young people in a town in Australia are currently attending.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The given pie chart compares the proportion of locations where dance classes are held, and the bar chart shows the number of student by age group who are attending in a town in Australia.

To begin with, 48% of location dance classes are held at private studios, which is doubled the figure then School halls (after school) 24%. Community halls & other accounts for 18%, and college based studies are at least comman at 10% dance

In contrast, Modern classes has more 510 students which became the most popular among the children (11-16). On the another side, it became the least favorable option for students at age of 11 under 11.

Furthermore, Ballet showed the most significant rise at 600 among under 11 students, but only about 300 student aged 11-16. Tap dance has similar number in both groups with 450 under 11 and 400 above 11-16.

Ouvrall, Modern type dance was the most popular among 11-16 aged students whereas Ballet was the most famous among under 11 students
