Student answer (Band 5.5)
In numerous countries nowadays, consumers can go to a supermarket and purchase food produced all over the world. However, it have some disadvantage, i believe that the positive development are more and help consumers to try a variety of food from different countries.
One of the main advantage of this purpose has that it allow many customer by buy and try new varietys of different types of food from other countries and enjoy it, moreover like they can try food, vegetable and other supplies of food from other countries without going there. For instance, people living in Pakistan can eat the apple from New Zealand and other materials from european country and enjoy it. Therefore, it is a positive development for country as well like it increase the economy of the country by doing trade with other countries, which also incrased the relationship of the countries with each other and both takes the advantages from this purpose as well as consumer have chance to try a varieties of foods without having the season of that foods.
On the other hand, it have some disadvantage like the supplies of foods need a large transpotation and need a large little of fuel which cause air pollution as well the prices of that foods are expensive and consumers face difficulties in it and not everyone can afford that foods.
In conclusion, it cause pollutions and difficulties for consumers to purchase foods from other countries, while its positive development are more like people's can try a variety of different foods from other countries.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you consider international food availability positive overall, while acknowledging pollution and affordability as drawbacks. You address both sides and give relevant support, including the example of people in Pakistan eating apples from New Zealand and the point that trade can strengthen economic and international relationships. However, some ideas are more fully addressed than others. The benefits of variety and trade are repeated, while the environmental and cost concerns are only briefly stated and not explored or balanced against the benefits. Develop these points with a specific explanation or example, and make the comparison supporting your overall judgement more explicit. The response meets the required length; nine words copied from the task prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph presenting benefits, a paragraph on disadvantages, and a conclusion that restates your view. This gives the reader a basic route through the argument. However, progression within the long benefits paragraph is not always clear: it moves from consumer choice to an example, then to trade and relationships, and back to seasonal availability. Linking expressions such as “moreover,” “therefore,” and “on the other hand” help signal relationships, but some connections are mechanical or unclear, and “it” or “that foods” does not always identify its reference precisely. Separate the different benefits into clearer steps, use pronouns with unmistakable references, and make the conclusion follow directly from the reasons discussed.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “air pollution,” “consumers,” “trade,” and “economy.” There are also attempts to express more specific concepts, such as food being available “without having the season” and the “relationship of the countries.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms are inaccurate or unnatural, sometimes making the meaning less clear. Examples include “this purpose” for the development or practice, “varietys,” and “a large little of fuel.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “transpotation” and “incrased” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of natural collocations for food imports and environmental effects, and check spelling and plural forms during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses linked with “which” and “while,” and the main argument is generally understandable. However, control is inconsistent, particularly in longer sentences, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries recur. For example, “it have” should be “it has,” “the positive development are” should be “the positive aspects are,” and “it allow many customer” needs agreement and plural forms. The sentence beginning “One of the main advantage” also contains several grammatical problems that make its structure difficult to follow. Practise building accurate complex sentences from shorter clauses, then check subject–verb agreement, articles, and punctuation before combining ideas.
