Student answer (Band 5.0)
Supermarket is a market where we can buy anything we want on our daily basis.I think it has a positive and negative effect on society and all over the world.
There are many country nowdays, depends on fast food comming from outside which is bad i fell their is mindset about the food and people they can feel like they dont have time to make food and now they prefer the food from supermarket. It is good for someday not all the time because it produces the diseases like cancer, herat problem, stomacheach etc.
On the other hand there are people who work like full time when they fell hungry they are able to feed their children and parents. they can get frozen food easily at the supermarket and cooking food as wll. They provide the food all over the world for people who are hungry those who are very easy to get food at the quick time they save their time as for work and they can have rest as well.
At the end, i would say there is both development on the world people are influence on the super market but some time it easy to get food. the food can make the health of young star distroy for hhe future which is bad so house food is always good for the child and family.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a relevant response by recognising both benefits and drawbacks, and your final paragraph suggests that you consider the development mixed. However, the question asks whether access to food produced around the world is positive or negative, while much of your discussion shifts to fast food, frozen food and supermarket convenience. The health concerns and the benefit of feeding busy families are relevant, but they are asserted rather than explained with specific examples. Your position is also not decisive: “both development” does not clearly answer which side you favour. The response is 24 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop your reasons. State a clear overall view and explain how international food choice affects consumers or communities.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic paragraph structure: an introduction, a paragraph presenting a concern, a contrasting paragraph about convenience, and a conclusion. “On the other hand” signals a change in direction, so the reader can follow the broad contrast. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear, particularly in the long sentence beginning “They provide the food all over the world,” where several ideas about hunger, speed, work and rest run together. Some links are also imprecise, and the conclusion repeats the mixed position without clearly resolving it. Use one main idea per paragraph, connect each explanation directly to the topic of internationally produced food, and use clear references so readers know who “they” and “those” refer to.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “supermarket,” “frozen food,” “diseases” and “health,” which helps communicate your main concerns and benefits. However, the range is limited and several phrases are vague or unnatural, such as “both development on the world” and “the food from supermarket.” Spelling errors—including “nowdays,” “comming,” “herat” and “distroy”—also make the writing less clear and reduce the accuracy of your word choices. Try to use more precise language for the task, such as “imported food,” “a wider choice of products” and “convenient meals.” Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations so your ideas sound natural and are easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the basic meaning is usually recoverable. However, sentence structures are often incomplete or poorly controlled. For example, “There are many country nowdays, depends on fast food comming from outside” lacks a clear grammatical connection between its clauses, while “they can feel like they dont have time” has an unclear subject reference. There are also recurring problems with articles, plurals, agreement and punctuation, as in “Supermarket is a market” and “people who work like full time.” Several sentences run together without appropriate punctuation. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time; proofread for sentence boundaries, articles and plural forms.
