Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often argued that the customers have an easy access to reach out to nearby supermarket and purchase food produced all over the world. I completely agree with this view because its easily available to eat and fullfill the need for people who has health concerns.
The primary reason why i agree with this view is that the availability of the food materials. This is because, people who travelled to different countries will miss there home food, which can lead to an home sick. As this choice of food resource, apparently fullfill there need of food preference. For example, in countries like canada, the diverse student population is more, so that the state installed a "so-called" their country store in every province.Another important point is that people who are health conscious, would not perfer food other than their our country food.As a result, this will impact on the health issues for certain population who avoid eating from outside, for those people supermarket , which as a section of continental food isle help more.
Furthermore, the benefits of the food provide another reason to support my position. This is mainly because people who want to maintain an healthly lifestyle, always jump into the selection food category. For instance, now a days, in the supermarket there is a separate dietary section, where they can buy the nutritional value foods irrespect to their nation. In addition, this also benefits the governmnet has more number of people will purchase the food, which is worth considering as it increase the overall consumerism .
In conclusion, I completely agree that importing products from different parts of the country will increase the easy accessibility and also emotional connects the people to there community.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you agree that access to food from around the world is positive, and you give relevant reasons involving homesick people, dietary needs and consumer spending. The examples of international students in Canada and supermarket dietary sections help connect your points to the topic. However, the response addresses the issue only partially because several claims are unclear or insufficiently explained. For example, the link between imported food and “health issues” for people who avoid eating outside is difficult to follow, and the point about benefits to the government through “consumerism” is asserted rather than developed. Explain more precisely how global food availability benefits consumers, and support each main reason with a clear explanation or specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Paragraphs are generally organised around separate reasons, and transitions such as “The primary reason,” “Furthermore” and “In conclusion” signal the stages of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because ideas are joined mechanically or their relationships are unclear. For instance, the sentence beginning “As this choice of food resource” does not connect smoothly to the example that follows, while the long sentence about health-conscious people and the continental food aisle combines several points without clear links. Use shorter, more logically connected sentences, and make references such as “this” and “these people” explicit so the reader can follow each point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “health conscious,” “dietary section,” “nutritional value” and “consumerism,” and you attempt to express ideas about food preferences and international communities. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning hard to interpret. Phrases such as “reach out to nearby supermarket,” “an home sick,” “selection food category” and “emotional connects” are not natural in this context. Spelling errors, including “fullfill,” “perfer” and “governmnet,” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of natural phrases for discussing access, dietary requirements and cultural food, and check spelling and word forms when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, using structures such as “because,” “which can lead to” and “where they can buy.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to understand. Examples include “the customers have an easy access,” “people who has health concerns,” and “people who travelled … will miss,” where articles, agreement or tense are not controlled. Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention: “For example” runs directly into the next sentence, and several long sentences contain multiple clauses without clear punctuation. Practise checking subject–verb agreement, articles and clause structure, then divide complex ideas into complete, clearly punctuated sentences.
