Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, it is widely believed that consumers can go to a supermarket and purchase food that produced by all over the world. I firmly believe that it is a positive development owing to the fact that it provides variety of different foods and best way to explore different traditional food at one place.
The primary reason why i believe that this is a positive aspect for buyers is that it offers several types of meals and indivituals easily buy everthing that they need at one market. In other words, it save the time and also conveniet for citizens and busy scheduled citizens. For instance, a person who are geeting late for go to their office and also have list of different grocery items so they easily bus everything at supermarket in their limited time. Therefore, this development yields significant benefits.
Another significat reason for my opinion is that it plays pivotal role in traditional food exploration and people also taste and use different ingredients in their meals that exported from another countries. People could purchase seasonal and non-seosonal fruits and vegetable whenever they wanted to eat. For example, some fruits are not available in local market so individual can go to a supermarket and get these fruits.
In conclusion, although people believed consumers can buy food that produced all over the world in supermarket. I firmly convincede

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear in the opening: you consider worldwide food availability a positive development, and you give two relevant reasons—greater convenience and access to foods from other cultures and seasons. However, the response addresses the task only partially because both points are briefly explained and the conclusion is unfinished (“I firmly convincede”), so your final position is not fully restated. The examples, such as buying groceries before work and finding fruit unavailable locally, are relevant but need more explanation to show their significance. The response also falls 23 words short of the required minimum. Develop each reason with a fuller explanation or a specific example, and complete the conclusion so the argument feels finished.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate reasons, and an attempted conclusion. Linking phrases such as “The primary reason,” “Another significant reason,” and “For instance” help signal the direction of the argument. However, progression is uneven because the conclusion stops mid-thought, and some connections are unclear—for example, the sentence about a person being late for work contains several ideas without a clear relationship between them. “Therefore” also concludes the first point without adding much synthesis. Use complete paragraphs and connect each example explicitly to its main claim; finish with a concise conclusion that restates your view.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “variety,” “traditional food,” “ingredients,” “seasonal,” and “significant benefits,” and the reader can generally understand your intended meaning. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “plays pivotal role.” However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision, including “indivituals,” “everthing,” “conveniet,” “significat,” and “convincede.” Some expressions are awkward or repetitive, such as “different types of meals” and “busy scheduled citizens.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, “a wide range of products” and “people with busy schedules” would express your ideas more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, using structures such as “The primary reason why…” and “although…”. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some parts difficult to follow. Examples include “food that produced by all over the world” (missing a passive verb and incorrect construction), “it save the time,” and “a person who are geeting late.” There are also problems with articles and sentence boundaries: “it plays pivotal role” needs an article, while the conclusion begins with “although” but is not completed as a full sentence. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, passive forms, and complete sentence construction before adding more complex clauses.
