Student answer (Band 5.5)

In most part of the world uupermarkets have made easier for a buyer to get any local or international food at a single place.I believe this is a positive development.

Big shopping market has made things easier by having all kinds of food. Locals can try diffrent food from different countaries and experience different taste around the world, also it gives foreigner a sense of belonging as if they are craving their local food they can simply go to super market and grab whatever they want. For instance there are many Pakistanis went to italy for studies or to china for their work if they are craving some local food they can simple go there and satisfied their craving.

Secondly it's profitable in terms of export and import. If countries decided to ship their local food to certain countaries it will boost their economic growth.Foe example Pakistan and salt range and they ship their salt across the world and have a impact on our economy. likewise different regions can ship their local food i.e. in Pakistan it's quite rare to find exotic fruits like dragon fruit. This step will give rise to economy as well improve ralations with varius countries.

Additionaly supermarket is a huge profitable buisness.Building your own supermarket will not only benefcial for owners themselves but also a remarkable initiative. For example in pakistan we have a small number of supermarket we should take step into this market. It will give tourists a good impression and brings a market incentives as well.

We should build more supermarket. It's benefcial for country pregress and a consumer experience.we should ecourage their development has it has positive impact on society and country

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the opening: you consider worldwide supermarket food a positive development. You give relevant reasons, including access to familiar food for people living abroad and the economic benefits of importing and exporting food, with examples involving Pakistanis overseas and Pakistani salt. These points address the question, but they are not developed equally. The paragraph about building supermarkets shifts towards business opportunities and tourism rather than explaining the effects of access to international food, so its connection to the task is less clear. Some examples, such as the claim that salt exports affect the economy, would be stronger with a clearer explanation. To strengthen the response, keep each main point directly tied to the question and explain how each example supports your view.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has an overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons, and a concluding recommendation. Sequencing expressions such as “Secondly” and “For instance” help signal the relationship between ideas, and the reader can generally follow your positive position. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. The move from international food availability to “Building your own supermarket” introduces a related but different topic, while “This step” does not clearly identify which action it refers to. Several ideas are also joined in long sentences, making their relationships harder to follow. Use topic sentences that state one focused reason per paragraph, and make references such as “this” or “it” point clearly to a specific idea.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “export and import,” “economic growth,” “local food,” and “sense of belonging.” These expressions help communicate your main ideas, and you attempt some topic-specific language such as “exotic fruits.” However, the range and control are limited by repeated general words such as “food,” “different,” and “good,” as well as inaccurate or awkward choices: “market incentives,” “a remarkable initiative,” and “a impact on our economy” do not express your intended meanings naturally. Spelling errors such as “diffrent,” “countaries,” and “benefcial” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise range of collocations and check spelling; for example, describe how trade “contributes to national income” rather than saying it has “a impact.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including conditional clauses such as “if they are craving some local food” and a reason introduced by “as.” The main message is usually understandable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity. For example, “there are many Pakistanis went to Italy” combines incompatible verb forms; use “many Pakistanis who go to Italy” or “many Pakistanis have gone to Italy.” In “they can simple go there and satisfied their craving,” the verb forms should be parallel (“can simply go … and satisfy”). There are also errors with articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries, as in “a impact” and the run-on after “single place.” Practise accurate clause construction and punctuation while varying sentence patterns.
