Student answer (Band 4.5)

In recent years, we have seen a increasing trend of buying conusmed foods from the market. In my opnionm it is negative development as they are taking the place of farmers, they put alot of efforts to produce healthy foods for the people.

on the one hand, it saves alot of money but it cost them health. These food contains harmful chemical which will affect person health;however they are saving some money. But you can't overcome the side effects people facing from it.A friend of mine eat alot of consume food afterward eating it for almost for a year. He was diagnosied with a cancer and then go through a treatment for a couple of months.

on the other hand, it is affecting farmer as they put alot of effort to grow these food. Not only it cost them mioney plus with the phsyical energy which drained doing activiteis like harvesting, taking care of crops.if consumed foods dominate the market it will gonna affects alot of people jobs. They maybe some sort of cyberattack on the supermarket where they keep thes products.Any person with technology can ruin these food item which cost them finanically and their health.Recently, attack happened in the Uk, where they destriyed these products and cost them alot of moeny to repair these machine and to fill up these freezer for the conusmed products.

You need to work like everything is working right now,you will not force it toward the industries made foods which will not affect people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You state a clear negative position and give relevant reasons, including possible effects on farmers and consumers. However, the response only partially develops the task: the claim that imported or supermarket food contains harmful chemicals is asserted rather than explained, and the cancer anecdote does not establish that the food caused the illness. The discussion of cyberattacks and damaged supermarket freezers is also difficult to connect to the question of food being produced around the world. The final sentence is unclear and does not effectively conclude your argument. The response is four words below the required minimum, and the ideas need fuller, more convincing support as well as a clearer conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is a basic attempt to organise the response, with an opening position and two body paragraphs introduced by “on the one hand” and “on the other hand.” These markers, however, do not create a clear progression: the first paragraph moves from cost to health and then to an anecdote, while the second shifts from farmers to jobs and cyberattacks. Some links are unclear, particularly the connection between global food availability and the supermarket attack example. Referencing such as “these food” and “it” also makes it harder to identify what is being discussed. To improve, give each paragraph one main point, explain it in a logical sequence, and use linking phrases only when they accurately show the relationship between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “farmers,” “harvesting,” “crops,” and “physical energy,” and you communicate a general concern about health and employment. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear, such as “consumed foods,” “industries made foods,” and “fill up these freezer.” Spelling errors—including “conusmed,” “diagnosied,” and “finanically”—are frequent and sometimes slow the reader. Repetition of “alot” and “foods” also limits precision. Build a more accurate topic vocabulary and check spelling; for example, distinguish “processed food” from “imported food,” since the task is specifically about food produced around the world.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional idea in “if consumed foods dominate the market” and a contrast introduced by “however.” Some sentence meanings remain understandable, but frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction reduce accuracy. Examples include “a increasing trend,” “These food contains,” and “A friend of mine eat,” where the article, plural agreement, and verb form are incorrect. The final sentence, “You need to work like everything is working right now,” is also difficult to interpret because its structure does not clearly express your intended point. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and verb, then review agreement and tense before adding complex clauses.
