Student answer (Band 5.5)
In most of the countries nowadays, consumers can purchase the food that is being produced by all over the world. Undoubtedly, this is a positive developlement, specially for the food lovers. In today's busy world, people don't have much time to prepare the food at home or they do not have the exact recipes for their favourite dishes, so they instantly goes to the supermarket and buys food according to their mood or their budget, which take of their burden of cooking something by own. Let's take an example here. I am very fond of chinese food which includes macroni, noodles etc. And when I craving for this, I simply goes to market and pickup my favoruite food among the variaties that are available in the supermarket, and I don't need to go china for eating or I don;t have to cook it myself, because the food is traditionally being prepared here and is made available for the all lovers. Similar examples can be taken from different countries where the national food or dishes are avaialble in other local areas of world, such as spanish salads, sea crackers, and more. This development is very much need of the time and I believe this is not just limited to the food area but other items are also available from all over the world. The export and import system over the world resolved many of the problems faced by the consumers across different sectors of life including manufacturing, arms and amunition, automobiles etc.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you consider worldwide food availability a positive development, and the example of enjoying Chinese food without travelling to China supports this view. However, the response develops mainly one benefit—convenience for people who like international dishes—and does not explain other relevant effects, such as greater choice, cultural exchange, or possible disadvantages. The final point about imports in manufacturing, arms and automobiles moves away from the food question and is not connected to your argument. To strengthen the response, explain your main reason in more depth and use examples that directly show how access to food from different countries benefits consumers.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable sequence: an introduction states your opinion, followed by an example and a concluding claim. Phrases such as “Let’s take an example here” and “Similar examples” help signal development. However, the essay is presented as one continuous paragraph, so the stages of the argument are not clearly separated. Several ideas are joined into long sentences, and the shift from food availability to manufacturing and arms is abrupt. Some linking is also repetitive, particularly the repeated use of “and” and “so.” Use separate paragraphs for your position, supporting reasons and conclusion, and make each paragraph advance one clearly connected point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “supermarket,” “recipes,” “budget,” and “export and import system,” and you attempt some more specific food terms. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make the writing less precise, such as “developlement,” “favoruite,” “variaties,” and “avaialble.” Some expressions are also unnatural, including “food lovers” as the main justification and “take of their burden of cooking something by own.” Choose more accurate collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms such as “international cuisine,” “access to imported products,” and “save time on meal preparation” would help express your ideas clearly and appropriately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a relative clause in “which includes.” However, errors are frequent and sometimes make the reader pause. For example, “people … instantly goes” and “I simply goes” have subject–verb agreement errors; “when I craving” is missing an auxiliary verb; and “which take of their burden” has an unclear grammatical construction. There are also problems with articles, prepositions and sentence boundaries, as in “go china” and the run-on sequence beginning “And when I craving.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and complete clause structures, then use shorter sentences where needed to keep your meaning clear.
