Student answer (Band 7.0)
Nowadays, consumers can buy feed imported from all over the world in supermarkets. Although this trend has some advantaged and disadvantages, I believe that it is largely stand with positive site because it gives people more choices and easier access to high-quality products from supermarkets.
One major advantage of imported food is that consumers have access to a much wider variety of products. Many countries are unable to produce certain types of food due to climate or economic conditions and also some nation have no any agricultural land for grow up foods. As a result, supermarkets provide people with an opportunity to purchase international products to visiting the market area near by their homes. For example, consumers can now buy tropical fruits, foreign snacks, or seafood without ordering them online from other countries. This development people can make easily orders and buying this things are now more convenient, easy and saves both time and money.
However, there are also some negative aspects of this given statement, especially for developing countries. Local companies often struggle to compete with large international brands that sell cheaper or more popular products. Consequently, some domestic businesses may lose customers and profits, which can negatively affect the national economy. Therefore, governments and supermarkets should support local producers in order to protect local industries and helping them to growing.
In conclusion, although imported food may create challenges for local businesses, I believe that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages because consumers benefit from greater choice and convenience for all buyers of the products.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response addresses all parts of the task and maintains a clear position throughout. You have identified both the advantages and disadvantages of global food trade, which demonstrates a balanced approach. However, the development of your ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the point about local businesses struggling is relevant but could be supported with more specific examples or a deeper explanation of the economic impact. To reach a higher band, ensure that your arguments are fully extended rather than just stated. Your conclusion effectively summarises your position, confirming that the benefits of convenience and variety outweigh the drawbacks.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organised into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'However', 'Consequently', and 'In conclusion' to signal shifts in your argument. While the progression of ideas is generally clear, some transitions feel a bit mechanical. Additionally, there are instances where referencing is slightly unclear, such as in the second paragraph where the connection between the lack of agricultural land and the ability to visit local markets could be more smoothly articulated. Overall, the structure is coherent and easy to follow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'international products', 'domestic businesses', and 'national economy'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and minor errors, such as 'largely stand with positive site' (should be 'largely positive') and 'grow up foods' (should be 'grow food'). These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of your writing. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and ensuring that your word forms are accurate in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'some nation have no any agricultural land' (should be 'some nations have no agricultural land') and 'this development people can make easily orders' (which is syntactically confused). While these errors rarely prevent the reader from understanding your meaning, they are frequent enough to keep the score in the 6.0 range. To progress, work on subject-verb agreement, article usage, and ensuring that your complex sentences are constructed with grammatical precision.
