Student answer (Band 6.5)
Nowadays supplies produced in various part of world are available everywhere. Food supplement from all over the world are now available at single store and there is no need to visit different countries to try their food. As per my perspective this is a positive development and there are two principal reasons of it.
The foremost reason is that, it improves relation between two nations. As globalisation has brought the revolution there is increase in the international trades and has strengthen the bond between countries. Moreover, it has eradicated the scarcity of goods and spices - which was the matter of great deal in earlier time. therefore, it can be considered as a good approach to built strong relation in international market.
The another most important factor is that easy availability of food supplement. Nowadays due to globalisation food from various countries are available at nearby shops and it has reduced the time to travel long distance for that food. For instance, ready to cook sushi and curries is now available at the shop whereas, in earlier time one had to travel Japan or Japanese restaurant to try that food. So this can be consider a positive development in terms of easy availability of consumable.
On the way to conclude, this trend can be considered as positive development for both citizens as well as for governments, as on one hand citizen has to travel less and on another hand governments are benefited by reducing the scarcity and earning taxes from this import and exports.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that the global availability of food is a positive development. The two main reasons provided—improved international relations and convenience—are relevant. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the link between food imports and international diplomacy is asserted but not deeply explored. The examples provided, such as sushi being available in local shops, are relevant but could be expanded to better illustrate the broader economic or social impact. To reach a higher band, ensure that each supporting point is fully explained with more depth and nuance.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'The foremost reason', 'Moreover', and 'On the way to conclude' are used to guide the reader. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical or repetitive. Additionally, there are minor issues with referencing and flow, such as the phrase 'which was the matter of great deal in earlier time', which is slightly awkward and disrupts the logical progression. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey their ideas clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'globalisation', 'eradicated', and 'scarcity'. However, there are noticeable inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as using 'food supplement' to refer to general food items, and 'built strong relation' instead of 'build strong relations'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of the argument. Expanding your range of topic-specific collocations would help improve this score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the' is often missing or misused), subject-verb agreement ('citizen has to travel'), and pluralisation ('various part of world'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, such as the unnecessary hyphen in 'spices - which'. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding the message, they are frequent enough to impact the overall fluency. Focusing on basic grammatical accuracy and proofreading for article usage would be highly beneficial.
