Student answer (Band 5.5)
In many countries nowadays consumer can go to the supermarket and buy food produced all over the world. In my opinion this is the positive development.
Overall, the consumer should buy only twice or thrice month of the food purchased only their family as compared to the global world.
Consumer should purchased food for their family and all over the world. For Instance If you buy the product for the whole year the food will be rotten in few days the food will not survive for the whole year the food will only survive for few days so that's why the consumer should buy for food in several days .In different countries the farmer will do the same they will cultivate the crop and produced food all over the world and one consumer buy the product and sold all over the world. Another example is local shop they consume the product for the people who buy the food and things.
In my perspective this is positive development, sometimes situation will be not the same and the conditions will be disturbed. But in hard time the food will be survived the consumer has buy the food and produced all over the world. This is the good thing for people they can purchase any time for the food for their children they will not face the any difficulty.
In conclusion in many countries they are good thing to do for the people they consume the product and sold all over the world. In the worst time they used the products

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by identifying the topic as a positive development, but the development of ideas is significantly limited. The arguments regarding food storage and supply chains are repetitive and lack clarity, making it difficult for the reader to follow the logic. For instance, the discussion about food rotting and the role of farmers is disjointed and does not effectively support the claim that global food availability is a positive development. To improve, you should focus on providing clear, distinct reasons—such as variety, nutritional benefits, or economic stability—and support each with a coherent example.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the internal structure of these paragraphs is weak. Ideas are often presented in a fragmented manner, and the transitions between sentences are frequently confusing or absent. For example, the shift from discussing family food purchases to global farming practices lacks a logical connection. While there are some attempts at cohesive devices, such as 'In conclusion' and 'For instance', they are used mechanically and do not effectively link the ideas together. The progression of the argument is not clear, which hinders the overall flow of the text.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive, often relying on basic words like 'food', 'buy', and 'product'. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and incorrect word choice, such as 'the food will be survived' and 'the conditions will be disturbed'. These errors occasionally make the intended meaning difficult to grasp. To achieve a higher band score, you need to expand your range of vocabulary to include more precise terms related to global trade, food security, and consumer habits, and work on using these words in their correct collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that affect the clarity of the writing. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'consumer can go', 'the consumer has buy'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are run-on or lack proper punctuation, which makes them difficult to parse. While there is an attempt to use complex structures, these are often faulty and lead to confusion. Focusing on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring subject-verb agreement will significantly improve the accuracy and readability of your work.
