Student answer (Band 6.5)
In recent times, there has been a on going discussion about the purchase of the food products that are produced all over the world by the consumers. There are many benefits and drawbacks of this process, I firmly support the purchase of the food produced world wide. This essay will be stating the positive development towards the process.
One strong reason to justify my answer is that, there are a varied range of food that would be produced around the world. Some of them are with high medical value, those items when transported and sold in the supermarkers that would be of greatest benefit for the people who cant travel a long way to taste them. For instance, Strawberries are widely grown in foreign countries, and they are transported around the globe for different region, they have the ability to lower blood pressure, which is the most popular disease among the people in the current generation. In this way buying food products that are from different places in through supermarket is a very good idea.
On the other hand, there are a very few dissadvantages in the development of this process as it takes a lot of time and effors for the transport of fruits, which may anytime get decomposed due to the surrounding conditions. For example, Mangoes that are transported from India takes about 2-3 days to reach the foreign countries that lead to the decay of 30% of the mangoes in the mid-way iteself. Likewise there are some negative drawbacks but they can be corrected with proper transport environment.
In conclusion, I firmly state that making the vast range of products around the world in supermarkets helps people to sustain their living in a better way possible.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
You have addressed all parts of the task and maintained a clear position throughout. You provided relevant reasons for your stance, such as the medical benefits of diverse food sources, and acknowledged the counter-argument regarding transportation waste. However, the development of your ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the example of strawberries and blood pressure is a bit simplistic and could be expanded with more sophisticated reasoning. To reach a higher band, ensure that your supporting examples are more thoroughly explained and directly linked to the broader implications of global food trade, rather than just focusing on individual health benefits.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
Your essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'On the other hand' and 'In conclusion,' to guide the reader. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'In this way buying food products... is a very good idea.' Additionally, some transitions between sentences feel abrupt. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and phrases more naturally to create a smoother flow between your ideas and to better connect your supporting points to your main arguments.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'decomposed,' 'transported,' and 'medical value.' However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'on going discussion' (ongoing), 'stating the positive development' (discussing the positive aspects), and 'effors' (efforts). You also rely on some repetitive phrasing. To achieve a higher score, try to incorporate more precise academic vocabulary and ensure that your word choices are consistently accurate and appropriate for a formal essay context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While your meaning is generally clear, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include 'there are a varied range of food that would be produced' (should be 'is' and 'is produced'), 'supermarkers' (spelling), and 'in the mid-way iteself' (in the middle/midway itself). Subject-verb agreement and article usage are areas that require more attention. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and try to vary your sentence structures with more complex clauses while ensuring they remain error-free.
