Food is a major part of culture, daily life and essence of a country. Crops produced on the land, spices used, chefs produceing foods has their own charisma and mechanism. It differs hugely from country to country. Countries around sea have developed foods in the a way, that is different from that of countries with no sea but fertile land. This difference is only understandable when one really tastes both of the regional foods.
For example, from my experience, the Asian subcontinent has variety in their Eastern and southern region. The Easter region countries like Japan, china have food that doesn't use a lot of spice, limited amount of rice and plenty of boiled green vegetables, slightly spiced, boiled and half boiled fish and meats are their prime choices. whereas India, Bangladesh and Pakistani people take more amount of rice like, polow, biriyani, kacchi, spiced meats and fishes and also vegetables prepared in special way. This regional differences can be understood by only taking food even without visiting other side of the continent physically.
I believe this a development because this type of experience makes us considerate towards other culture and countries. Not only it gives us the joy of foreign taste, but also it teaches us hospitality towards our tourists by taking care of their food like using less or more spice to make them comfortable. It is not possible for everyone to visit another country, at least the foreign food buying or tasting creates a festive event for middle class people. Most importantly, it is completely one's choice to buy or avoid international food. This way, it is not obligatory or disturbing to anyone. Hence, my firm stand to the statement that international food facility in a country's supermarket is a development.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
You have clearly stated your position that the availability of international food is a positive development. You provide relevant reasons, such as cultural appreciation and the convenience of experiencing foreign cuisines without travel. However, the development of your ideas is somewhat uneven. The second paragraph focuses heavily on describing regional food differences rather than directly linking them to the 'positive development' argument. To reach a higher band, ensure that every paragraph directly supports your thesis. While you address all parts of the prompt, the explanation of why this is a 'positive' development could be more analytical and less descriptive of the food itself.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'For example,' 'Not only... but also,' and 'Hence,' which help guide the reader. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally mechanical, and some transitions feel abrupt. For instance, the jump from describing Asian food to the conclusion about hospitality is a bit sudden. Additionally, there are some minor issues with referencing and sentence-level cohesion that prevent a smoother reading experience. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring a tighter logical progression between ideas would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'globalization,' 'culinary art,' and 'considerate.' There are some instances of slightly awkward phrasing or word choice, such as 'premium access' or 'international food facility.' Additionally, there are minor errors in word formation, such as 'produceing' instead of 'producing.' While you attempt to use less common vocabulary, the precision is sometimes lacking. To improve, focus on using collocations more naturally and ensuring that your word choices are contextually accurate to convey your ideas with greater sophistication.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., 'many countries supermarket have'), missing articles, and punctuation errors. Some sentences are also slightly fragmented or run-on, which affects the clarity of your message. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable. To achieve a higher band, you should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and ensuring that your complex sentences are constructed with greater precision and fewer errors.
