Firstly, many people enjoy having varieties of food from all over the world. This trend allows individuals to purchase their favourite or any variety of food manufactured in any corner of the globe. That ensures people to enjoy their cuisine although it is from the different countries. This reduces the physical barrier to stop consuming the your favourite food. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that the trend is positive. However, the development of ideas is uneven. The first two body paragraphs provide relevant points regarding consumer choice and economic benefits. The third paragraph, intended to address the negative aspects, is incomplete and ends abruptly, which limits the depth of the argument. While the position is clear throughout, the lack of a conclusion and the unfinished final paragraph prevent a more thorough exploration of the topic. To improve, ensure that all points are fully developed and that the essay concludes with a summary of the main arguments.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay uses basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'Furthermore' to signal the progression of ideas. Paragraphing is attempted, but the final paragraph is fragmented and incomplete, which disrupts the logical flow. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the phrase 'Which allows a nation', where the relative pronoun does not clearly refer to the preceding clause. While there is an overall attempt at a coherent structure, the mechanical nature of the linking words and the abrupt ending of the text indicate a need for more sophisticated transitions and better control over paragraph structure.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several instances of awkward phrasing or incorrect word choice, such as 'varieties of cuisine produced' (instead of 'a variety of food products') and 'the physical barrier to stop consuming'. Some terms are used repetitively, such as 'supermarket' and 'food'. While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is limited, and there are minor errors in collocation that prevent the response from reaching a higher band. Expanding your range of synonyms and learning common collocations would significantly improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('varieties of food is purchased', 'supermarket had made it possible'), article misuse ('in supermarket'), and punctuation errors. The sentence 'Which allows a nation to extend it's product' contains an incorrect possessive form ('it's' instead of 'its'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles and possessive pronouns.
